    Came Back to Order Another One!For the price, I'm very impressed. I honestly didn't expect it to last this long but it's actually been great. It feels soft and comfortable, it has held up to washing / drying and nightly use. My bedroom is in the basement and is cool year round so I use it even in the summer.I did NOT receive anything asking me to review this as others here said they have. No, it is not cotton (I never thought it was, but other reviews here have stated it says that somewhere). It is microfiber, which is a cheaper fabric, but it is not rough or uncomfortable. I've tried microfiber sheets before and hated them but this isn't the same as actually sleeping on them. I only use a top sheet about half the time (my favorite sheets down't have one) but the other half I sleep with this directly on me. I'm a bit of a cotton snob, but I find this to be just fine.Yes, it's fairly thin, but if your insert is a solid color and similar to the cover, it's fine.The only real down side I can see it that the button closure isn't terribly well done. None of the buttons have fallen off, though I think they will eventually. If your insert is large, it may show through the opening. My thinner insert is smaller and doesn't do that but my winter one is larger and tries to peek out. I solve this by simply putting a diaper (safety) pin in each corner and one in the middle of the button edge. If you do it discreetly it doesn't show. 4Not impressed more disappointedI thought buying this for my California king size bed week 1 the strings threads started falling apart and coming undone and does not have buttons it has a zipper and there are no ties in the corners to type to your down comforter so it's all of the bed if you don't make it every day so in my opinion I would never ever buy this product again it went to the Goodwill but the color was very pretty that's the only thing good to say about it but it was not worth money whatsoever I mean not the money it was supposed to be red well it was not it a cheap see thru thin dull poorly made red dress sorry for the BAD review would NOT buy this unless it can be redone in a BETTER wayThank you Sattt!!!! 1Great set, but with a marketing gimmick...I ordered a full / QUEEN GARY and that is what I received super fast via Amazon Prime. At this price ($28) you can't go wrong. For some reason duvet covers are quite expensive at the local stores and are marketed based on their thread count. The higher the count the more money it is. But it doesn't always mean that based on the count you're getting best quality or softness.Well, let me tell you about this set. Although they do pull a marketing gimmick calling it "1,500 Thread Count", it is NOT! In smaller print is says: "feels like... 1500 thread count" This is the only reason I took off a star! I hate the bait and switch schemes and normally I would return such a product. However, this set I decided to keep. Even though the thread count is unknown, the fabric is super soft to the touch even after a dozen plus washes. It feels velvety to the touch and almost has a micro fiber feel to it. Doesn't really wrinkle and washes well. They Gray color is just like on the picture so I have no complaints. The set came with the duvet cover that fit my Queen blanket just fine and two pillow cases in the same color.Overall, quite happy with this set for under $30! Even better if you get it on sale! I ordered the KING set, the packaging says KING but the Duvet itself barely fits a full/queen let alone my king sized comforter. The "king" shams were a tight fit and looked as though someone had gone over all of the seams with some kind of an abrasive being as everything was frayed.The fabric itself? Soft and thin, would be ideal for spring/summer. I'll never know because the manufacturer clearly screwed up somewhere. For a moment I thought I was putting on the cover wrong and flipped the blanket in numerous different directions (knowing full well after 30 years I know how to put on a duvet cover). I went crazy for almost an hour and will now be using the piece of crap on a twin bed in my guest room. 1BAIT AND SWITCH. DON'T BUY!!Not only did I not receive the bright red pictured this item is a bait and switch. Says 100% cotton on the main image but by the color chart it says 100% polyester. And since it has a color chart it also prices I received burgundy and not red. I was so excited when I saw how bright red they actually were. Very true to color!! They are thin, but I wanted them to be. The softness was even better than I had hoped! I LOVE this set!! I am going to encourage others to purchase as well! Couldn't be happier, but it has only been one night so I can not say how well they will hold up after multiple washings but they appear to be made well so I'm not too worried about it. 5Best duvet coverThis is the first time that I have bought a duvet cover so I did a lot of searching and researching ahead of time and I finally settled on buying this one. It is super soft and the color is exactly what I was looking for. I've had it for a few weeks now and it does great in the wash and it still looks great on my bed. The color compliments my grey sheets and cherry wood very well. I got the side cover and it's definitely a nice cover. I have a dog and the dog hair just brushes right off and it was easy to clean the wash also. I hand wash and dry all of my clothes and linens and it was easy to do by hand and dried much quicker than my old comforter and other quilts. 5I am very disappointed.The product I received does not match the specification. I received a duvet cover of 104"x90" inch and I expected a duvet cover of 108"x102" inch. It does not fit my duvet, I am very disappointed. 1Sow's Ear Instead Of Silk PurseThis item is neither cotton, nor was the one I received 1500 thread count. I am a professional fiber artist. I was suspicious when I first opened the item as the feel of the fabric was way too light and see-through for a 1500 thread count of cotton material. The weight was also too light for the same.I did wash the item to remove sizing before I was going to place on my duvet and did a burn test on the fibers of this item caught in the lint trap of the dryer. The Burn Test confirmed my suspicions that this item was polyester.Also, the manufacturer's information was nowhere on any label at all! While each item in the set had a washing instruction label, there was no label stating the fiber content of the items. I am not sure if it is still true, but it was illegal to omit such information from any textile item. I must provide my customers that information as well on any handwoven item I produce, along with care instructions.Save your money. The item I received was not the one I ordered in any way, shape or form.Buyer beware! 1Mixed emotionsAs the look, quality, and price of this item, I was highly pleased. It was a perfect fit for both my pillows and my mattress. It is soft, not too heavy yet not too light, and is very bright in color. This may sound strange, but I actually enjoy sleeping more than I did prior to getting; especially when I coupled with the same color of bedsheets. The problem though with that is that I had not originally intended upon buying new bedsheets, after just having purchased a very nice set of white linens. The only reason I did that was because the duvet completely stained my brand-new white sheets - turning them pink overnight. And even though I immediately washed them in hot water in added liquid bleach, along with a bluing additive, it did nothing to take the color out of them and hence, I was out $80 of which I had just spent two days earlier. So, what do you do with pink sheets that cannot be cleaned? Well, I guess if you do not care about appearance, you simply do nothing. Me though? I threw them into the trash. So my advice would be to make sure and wash the set before putting it onto your bed; especially if you have lighter colored sheets. Oh, and lastly after I finally did the same, my nice beautiful bright duvet and pillow shams are now a few shades lighter than the sheets of which I had to purchase in order to replace the ones that it ruined. 3
