    Great value. This is a good quality machine. It looks and works great. 5Extra time, but extra flavor! This coffee maker is just darn good looking. Oh yeah, it actually works. The alcohol burner has an odd smell when it is working, so be ready for that. But man, the coffee. Can't get this from an automatic. It s HOT... even the valve to open to get a cup, you will get little burns here and there till you totally get the hang of it. It uses twice the coffee of a regular drip style.... the water is only with the grounds a couple of minutes before siphoned off...therefore requires more grounds to make a normal cup. I am a 3rd wave coffee enthusiast. I roast my own beans and have most of the various manual coffee contraptions out there. I even want to start my own coffee shop one day. All that to say that I am thoroughly impressed with this Belgian siphon. If you ve ever had regular siphon before, you know what it tastes like and this is no different. In my opinion, what it does have that a normal siphon does not have is beauty. It does take a little time to brew, but makes a fantastic cup! 5
