    this 2 quart size works perfect for my girlfriend and I this 2 quart size works perfect for my girlfriend and I. the only problem happened while I was in a rush and decided to heat up some oil over high heat . Suddenly only 2 minutes after I had lit the burner there was a POP , something similar to a popcorn kernel exploding. I immediately shut off the stove and then another POP. After some time to cool down I safely inspected the Dansk only to find out that the enamel had cracked and splintered. Let my experience be our lesson. these pots are semi fragile and should be used gently. will be ordering another one because like I said this size is perfect, oh and we love the color. 4Arrived chipped, enamel falling off on second use I checked the pot thoroughly out of the box due to some of the negative reviews on the new Kobenstyle; there were a few pieces of clear-coat over the enamel missing around the rim, and a chunk that seems to have been hastily repaired by the bottom of the pot. I figured that this isn't too bad as it's not on the inside of the pot, but again, for sixty bucks you'd think I'd receive it in at least good condition? I used it once, hand washed and dried it; all good. Second use, I have it on the stove heating up soup, and as I put the lid back on, the enamel from under the lid handles just falls onto the top of the lid - a solid piece about an inch long. Now you can't see it, but come on! I'd return it if I hadn't recycled the box already. What a waste. 2it's ok but too small >"< When i received it i was excited but a little disppointed because it was small than what i imagined! only serving for one person. I use it to warm up milk with black tea it's great and works well ! 4Horrible return window for very faulty product - DO NOT BUY! We were very careful to use this pot correctly and not heat with no food inside, but on the third use the enamel started chipping like crazy while we were cooking quinoa. While I read others' reviews saying the same thing happened to them, I stupidly bought this pot anyways because it is so pretty and because I was thinking I could return it if I had any issues. However, Amazon won't let me return one month and one week after my purchase (right at about the time this faulty product is set to give out!) The small return window of this product is ridiculous - DO NOT BUY! Amazon, I expect a better return policy for a completely faulty product. 1Repeatedly Defective Returned it 3 times. Each time the enamel had a bubble or chip. 3LOVE I cannot spot any difference between this and the mid-century Kobenstyle pots and pans pretty much everyone in my suburban Minnesota neighborhood had growing up. Except maybe the heat disk on the bottom. My memory fails me, I guess. I cannot recall whether those pans had that.The teal (actually more of a cool turquoise) is as pictured and is beautiful. I waited for one at a price I could afford (one awesome thing about Amazon is that if you put something in your cart and then save for later, you can watch for price drops). But if you treat these pans right, they last forever. Use no scratch utensils - never metal (although, if you catch them, they won't leach toxins into your food or the air in your kitchen). Always hand wash (nobody I babysat for did this, though - everything went into the dishwasher if they had one). If you have stuck on food, soak with hot soapy water and wipe - don't scrub. And watch the heat and the cold. The porcelain will crack if the temp changes too quickly. It sounds like a lot (unless you don't have a dishwasher and are used to doing things by hand), but depending on your needs and tastes, the pans are worth it.I say "depending on your needs and tastes" because not everyone wants or needs porcelain clad pots and pans. I have several, because they work better for me. I can use lower cooking temperatures. The food cooks evenly. And if I soak (which is fine for me - I have lupus, and I usually need to rest between cooking and cleaning anyway), they clean up beautifully. My husband, OTOH, is a great cook and he is also Mr. No Nonsense. He uses the regular cast iron, our 50 year old scratched and dented revere ware stuff, and our gorgeous giant stainless steel stockpot (the man makes amazing broth - nobody gets the last squeal out of a pig or squawk out of a chicken like my man). When he's done, he cleans BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY!!!! Then he oils the cast iron and heats it until the smoke alarm sounds. BAM! Done!Which is why I have hidden the Kobenstyle, but that is a story for another day. 5SO disappointed - chipped after 9 months I received this casserole as a gift last December, and loved it instantly. It was the workhorse of the kitchen, and I used it nearly every single day for nine months. However, the white enamel chipped off while I was browning meat. After several attempts to get a hold of Lenox customer service (who makes Dansk), I was told that "chipping is not covered by the warranty" and that I qualified for a 50% replacement program. I am so disappointed in the quality of this product, and that the manufacturer won't stand by their product for even one year. Vintage Kobenstyle is sold on Ebay, and I can't believe this one wouldn't even hold up to a year of regular use.Don't waste your money. 1UPDATED: Arrived with chip, badly repaired This pot had a prior chip on the handle that had an attempt at repair that did not even match the enamel color. The repair also did not cover the entire chip, leaving a rough spot that is unsuitable for using the handle bare-handed. I am returning for an exchange and will amend this review should the next pot be satisfactory.UPDATE: Received my replacement, and the lid had multiple (attempted) repaired chips in the enamel on the handle as well as where the handle meets the lid. I'm starting to wonder if this listing is for factory seconds? Extremely disappointing to receive a pot that is not in "new" condition at this price point. 1Chipped I love my Dansk pots, but this one came out of the box with a chip in the enamel on the handle. For what this cost , I expect heirloom quality. My other Dansk pots are lovely and worth what I paid for them.I wish I hadn't bought this one. 2Great little pot, works on induction stove tops. I love this little pot, it is so charming and cute. It s tiny, about 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 , so don t buy it if you re not looking for a tiny pot. But it s just what we were looking for to make our queso for two . We only make about 10 ounces a sitting, and this is perfect. And it works on our induction stove top! 5
