    Good if you NEED a tiny hat clip. This light was MUCH smaller than I anticipated. It's roughly the size of 2 quarters. You could easily buy 2 of them and put them both on your hat if you want even more light. The light is bright and wide, not a focused beam. It's very light and small, the switch is easy to use and find in the dark. The best part of the design is that the clip is made of metal and will not break. I have had three other hat clip lights and all three broke after a few hours of use. This light will hold up nicely.Update 1 year later:These are best for close range work, not enough light to light up your walking path well.While they're nice and bright on fresh batteries, they're not as bright as I would like for most of their working time before running out of battery life.The part where the metal clip is attached to the plastic broke on two of these. 3A bright idea This light worked well. The micro design with no extraneous projections creates a streamlined profile that did not catch on anything making it particularly useful in tight space. I've had other lights that were repeatedly knocked off. The secure clip assisted here as well.The button was easy to activate even with gloves so there was no fumbling in the dark. 5Keep Shopping...Great vendor service, but a sub-standard product. Bright Light, small, compact, and can be worn conveniently without blocking your vision.A HUGE disappointment that the amateur-engineering of the metal clip's mounting into the plastic is SO WEAK that the small little plastic tips (easily seen sticking downward, directly to the left of the 5 LEDs in the picture to the left) which I assume are meant to withstand the entire stress of the product's wire clip.....didn't break COMPLETELY off, during only the second time that I (GENTLY!!) moved it to another cap's brim, also with VERY compatible thickness-dimensions. Not once did I try to bend or "adjust" the wire clip to accommodate a thick brimmed cap. The plastic bits fell apart in my hand. Ultimately, as I REALLY DO like the brightness and small size of this light, I just permanently glued it with LOCTITE onto the cap I use most after dark. I just now purchasied a different company's cap light product however...and I haven't referred this product to friends, that's for sure...If you plan on buying this product, also do a search for LOCTITE or EPOXY....you'll need some to hold this thing together. 2Small, bright, and convenient I love this little light. It s surprisingly bright for its size and very convenient to clip onto a baseball cap. I m a photographer so it really helps to have both of my hands free to set up camera gear at night and this little light gives me plenty of light to do just that. I ve used other lights that are similar but none of them are as small and convenient as this one. The clip is strong enough that it stays put and doesn t slip off of the baseball cap. I ve even clipped it to the fabric of my shirt when I m in a hurry and it doesn t slide off. 5The best clip-on light I've found This light is so good, I bought 10 of them after testing the first one, so I could hand them out to family and friends. The steel clip is sturdy and tight, so the light does not move around on whatever you clip it to. I clip it to a baseball cap, my wife sometimes clips it to the hood of her jacket, to her lapel, or somewhere inside her purse to keep it handy until she needs it. The light is bright enough for me to use when walking the dog, working on the car or lawn tractor at night, etc. The power button clicks on and off definitively, so it won't accidentally turn on or off when you least want it to. This light certainly does not replace my Fenix LD22 for illuminating several acres of property at a time, but it handles any job within 50 feet very nicely. 5Extremely versatile, strong little light!! This is a wonderful little light! When I first received it, I was surprised at how small it was (it is only about an inch and a half long and an inch wide). This makes it extremely easy to clip onto any hat or to carry around and use as a regular flashlight. It has 5 tiny LED bulbs that are very bright for their small size. I was able to use this clip to fix a small leak in a pipe in my basement in a small, dark area where a regular flashlight would have been too cumbersome to hold. I also tried it out as a book reading light at night in bed and found that it worked well for that too. It really is versatile enough to be used for a variety of things. If, for example, you wanted to use it to clip onto a hat and walk your dog at night or ride your bike, I would say you could probably use it for that purpose as it wouldn't be overwhelmingly bright outside in the dark, but it would certainly be enough to light your way and alert cars to your presence. You could also just slide it into your pocket or purse and use it to find your keys/light up your door lock in the dark. Overall, it is a great product. I will be using this for numerous household tasks. Very, very handy! 5Liked it so much I ordered two more This is a tiny little 5-LED light. They are not so bright that they will blind you, but not so dull that you think you have a 1975 C-cell.The clips are sturdy and firm and clip to the rim of a cap without any perceivable wiggle. I ran for three years in variable weather with one of these clipped to my hat, and it worked great. I also used it on hunting and fishing trips in low light, and as a see-in-the-dark-corner for routine household maintenance like sink repairs.The on/off button is tactile and audible. The battery on my first version lasted over three years. I think rain, snow and condensation killed my first one because I didn t hesitate to use it under any condition. I liked my first one so much that when it died, I ordered two more. Highly recommend for similar purposes to mine. 5Great personal light I bought this light in both white and green for campsite use on boy scout campouts. The surprisingly bright light has performed well so long as it was not left in a heavy rain or the dog chews on your cap. One tidbit that might be useful is that the led driver (used to stabilize the voltage to the led lights) can accept power from button cells other than CR2016. The two cr2016 batteries are stacked to produce 6v but the led circuit will also accept a single 2032 cell at 3v and produce almost as bright a light. I have been using the 2032 off and on in the cyclops micro mini hat light for a few months after the original batteries died. I can't tell you how long it would have worked since my pet ate my cap with the light on it. 5Works after getting wet I use this to run in pre-dawn hours. I've only owned this for about 2 weeks. Its been out on about 6 runs, at roughly an hour each and the battery is holding up fine.Nice: small and lightweight; well priced; solid construction; replacement batteries won't be hard to find.Would've liked: a more penetrating beam of light; though nicely constructed, the all plastic battery compartment looks like it can fail over time (because the plastic closing clip gets worn down). Wished they would have used small screws to hold the batteries in.This light is good enough for me to be seen by traffic and others, but the light is not really bright enough for me to see the heaved and broken pavement that is part of my run. That's especially a concern when running against traffic and my eyes can't adjust between the brightness of a car's headlights vs the lighted output of this hat clip light. When on a paved trail with less environmental lighting, this hat clip provides enough illumination for me to use the trail without concerns about twisting an ankle, etc.I accidentally left this in my short's pockets and then proceeded to hand wash the shorts by submerging it in a bucket for 30 minutes. Realized my mistake when wringing out shorts. Amazingly this thing still works fine after that ordeal. So I would expect it to work in the rain. 5Great running lamp I bought this very small light to use when I run in the dark. I am an avid runner and can't stop working out in the winter because it is dark before and after work. There are streetlights in my neighborhood, but some are out and the sidewalks are occasionally uneven. I wanted cars to be able to see me better than just from my reflective vest. I was amazed at just how much light this little guy puts out. I love the metal clip. It is perfect for my Cool Max Headsweats Running cap brim. The Cyclops LED lights my path perfectly from the brim of my cap. The unexpected benefit is that it also lights my Garmin watch dial as I look down to check my pace. This is great especially in the winter when it is not so easy to push the watch backlight wearing gloves. I don't care if people think that I am a geek running with a headlamp, I will never run in the dark without this Cyclops LED again. BTW, you will need spare watch batteries for the unit. 5
