Customer Reviews

Lifestyle enhancement Unlike those negative reviewers, I experienced absolutely ZERO problems with the lid or replacement cartridge.I merely followed the directions, which were included in the box.***Be sure to run a full chamber of water through your new filter, about 8 times. This will prime your cartridge, by eliminating any loose carbon particles ***------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------After being filtered, my tap water now tastes- absolutely pure and fresh. The Culligan Water Filter Pitcher is a wonderful part of my life! Before trying out this filter pitcher, I was reliant on drinking water from heavy, expensive water bottlesor simple tap water, which had a chemical taste. As a heavy water drinker, after buying the Culligan Water Filter Pitcher, I no longer need to drink water from heavy, expensive water bottles or basic tap water, which has a chemical taste.Seth O. KnapPhoenix, AZ 5it's a good starter, I think I will purchase a bigger ... At first glance, it's a good starter, I think I will purchase a bigger one later. My filter arrived dry and loose, soaked it for 15 mins as directed, noticed it was dripping so slow, so I soaked it another 15 mins. Same result, slow drip. Called CS and they said this is normal for first time use and could take up to 3 hours to fill. With continuous use, the CSR said it will filter faster. I just think that it should be said in the instructions given. That's just me. Compare to our hard tap water here, and we have had 2 water bans in less than 3 years. This was the better option for the price. 3So far I Love it! I bought these pitchers because I was boiling water for drinking and that became a hassle for meI did use the faucet filters in the past but they were too low and we kept hitting them with dishes etc.So I decided to get these pitchers .. I found these were better priced than the Brita....I keep them full every day and I drink a lot of water esp now in the hot days! So far the waterhas tasted great.. Used about a week so far... You have to follow directions though and make sure you keep the filterwet at all times ( that means make sure you keep the pitcher filled ) or you may be addingrefill filters more than needed.... I bought 3 (because of the good price) and keep 2 of them filledall the time... Saved one for spare ... Bought replacement filters right away also! 5Very small. Poor design. This is a very poor design for a pitcher filtration system. The upper part must be completely empty of the water or the water from that holding tank pours out with the filtered water. The amount of water you can filter with each fill up is quite small. I'm constantly filling it, and checking to see if the bottom tank is full. If it's not full, the filter dries out and need to be shaken. There's a LOT of guessing! I bought this pitcher because of a notice about water contamination in our area. I Googled it and found only two filtration systems that filtered it out. One had only a whole house system, and the other was Culligan. However, I m trying to find out if this small pitcher filter actually does it, or just Culligan's whole house system. This says it's a "basic" filtration device, which doesn't tell me much. For convenience, I prefer my Pur tank. It is much better designed and holds much more water, but wasn t listed as taking out the one contaminant that we were warned of. 2Great little pitcher! This pitcher is used CONSTANTLY. Just remember to change the filter (little reminder is included on the lid).I add fresh mint from the garden or lemon/lime to the main pitcher each week. 5Ehhhhh I was looking for a cheaper alternative to a Brita Pitcher, (my husband and I are locked in the enternal debate of weither or not filtering water is nessarcy, I say no, he says yes.) Found this pitcher while browseing, its almost half price and the refils are even cheaper than that. It states it fits in a fridge door, i wouldn't even try it because when this thing is full its heavy than expected. The lid is flimsy but it does stay on. My husband claims to hate it because it "Makes a mess everytime I pour" but i dont have that problem.I'll continue to use it for at least the forseeable future since I bought the refills to and I'm to lazy to return it, but I probably will end up biting the bullet and buying a brita eventually. 3Bad investment WENT BACK TO BOTTLED WATER Super expensive LOST MY INVESTMENT purchasing this CRAPThis was the worst purchase. Convaluted instructions. Still sitting in my box of Amazon products I bought that I lost money on BAD PRODUCTS 1Works pretty good. Lid sorta bites. I bought this because I was looking for it to filter multiple things (which it does) and for price and that refills seem available locally. But the lid design really bites. It has barely any lip and when you pour or lift it and your thumb puts pressure on the back tail, it easily slips and shifts. I work around it, but it's annoying. Plus the filtered capacity does not have a logical correlation to the upper reservoir... so that's odd and takes guess work. 3Does what it s supposed to do! I ve killed a few coffee makers using straight water. I have well water with plenty of iron, I use this to fill my coffee maker & there are no tell tale signs of rust or sediment in my keurig 5Great for office! I use this at work. Filters at a steady pace, water tastes better and staff mostly stopped buying bottled water to make coffee. The small size is leaner and fits well in our smaller fridge. The lid can be a little wobbly, but that doesn't bug me all that much. I fill my tea cup, refill the reservoir, warm my water in the microwave, and once it is warmed, refill the reservoir once more (while my staff is brilliant, "someone" hasn't figured out how to refill it after they make an entire pot of coffee or refill their water bottle, leaving it mostly empty . . . But that is a "people problem" and the pitcher can hardly be blamed for their lack of consideration). 5
