    Good for the priceMy review is similar to those posted before. It is a really great price for the size. I was looking at frames around $115-200 for a tapestry I bought in Thailand, but with the lower price comes a lower quality. The "glass" is definitely a hard plastic, we are going to remove it as soon as we get something to secure the tapestry. That was our original plan though, before we received the frame. The frame came with hardware to hang it, but we had to install ourselves. I am still happy with my purchase, but just be aware this is more of an IKEA type frame, i.e. put it together yourself and cheaper quality materials, than a West Elm or Crate and Barrel frame. I would buy again for another tapestry.4The Poorest, cheapest construction that won t withstand even the lightest poster/art.BUYER BEWARE!!!! This is a no star product. It the poorest constructed frame of the cheapest materials. The back that holds art/Picture is lightweight cardboard. The frame has NO STABILITY. I had to reinforce to keep it together and hold the poster. The frame itself is a PRESSURIZED PAPER. Unbelievable!. As you can see I know firsthand because the frame broke and came off the wall.1Don't waste your moneyThis frame is cheaply made and low quality. When I spent the nearly $30 to purchase this frame i was expecting something that would be durable and somewhat long lived. However, it seems like nearly every detail of this frame was designed to cut cost of production. The backing is cardboard, the glass is actually plastic, the frame is made from a cheap wood, and most egregiously, the fastening mechanism on the back is a collection of those small metal tabs that must be bent and unbent any time you want to put something on the frame.This product is barely better than your cheapest Walmart frame, and the only redeeming quality is that wood instead of plastic was used as the frame base. Don't waste your money on this this product, it's a rip off.2This is the Worst frame I have ever boughtOkay, I got this frame to hand up a Picture, and it looked okay. its been barely even a few weeks after i hung the picture up, and i noticed that the sides and angles of the frame are falling apart. How can something so simple fall apart from its own weight? I reached out to the company, but did not hear back from them. So i am stuck with this bad product, and I will have to go buy a different one. I thought spending almost $30 on a good frame would be worth it, but this is just the worst!! bad build, and horrible quality. Don't waste your money on this!!1DO NOT BUY!!Waste of money! The cheapest frame I have ever seen. I paid $36 for 13x24 bc I couldn t find that size anywhere else and it is not even glass, it s plastic!! The sides don t even seem like wood, they are some kind of flimsy material. And the black paint is scratched in places. It is something you would find for maybe $5 only bc of the larger size but I ve seen better quality frames at the dollar store. With actual glass! This is something you might hang a poster in a kids room up with, not anything to pay over a few dollars for. Save your money and look elsewhere for an actual frame. This is garbage and one of the biggest ripoffs I ve bought off of Amazon.1really annoying and not worth boxing up to send backOrdered 23x35 but received 23x32 ... really annoying and not worth boxing up to send back, so now I m stuck with a frame I can t use and making a trip to Michael s. 1Great frame, used different hanging methodThis is a very nice frame for the price. I bought 3 to hang some prints (pictured). The frames are wood with a layer on top for the matte black finish (not painted or dyed). There's no mat so the prints can go edge to edge. The frames are very precisely measured so I had to trim my prints a few millimeters so they fit. The backing on this size (12x15) is very nice and rigid. The glass is clear and came well protected.Hanging SuggestionI didn't use the hanging hooks that come on the backing. I hung mine with these velcro strips: Command Damage Free Picture and Frame Hanging, Large Strips and it worked great since they're narrower than the frame so they're unseen. They also allowed me to move them up and down to get the alignment just right.5Didn't have glass....but should have.I ordered two frames, both size 10 x 18. I was VERY upset to find that both contained plexiglass, rather than actual glass. Their description clearly says that "any frames SMALLER than 12 x 18 would contain glass". Well, my frames were both 10 x 18, which is clearly SMALLER than 12 x 18.....so why no glass?? I now have to go out and get glass cut for both of them, greatly increasing my overall expense and effort. I would return them both, but I am on a short deadline. I do not plan to purchase anything else from this vendor.1Cheap and a waste of moneyI purchased this product for over $50, expecting the quality to reflect that amount. Aside from the frame being the correct size, the item is an embarrassment and a complete waste of money. The "glass" is made out of a cheap plastic, one that is stained with a brown spot and unable to be cleaned, and makes my new painting look dingy and old. The frame was totally detached in one corner, which also allowed me to see just how cheaply made these frames are. I was looking for something that would past muster without being too expensive but was kind of amazed at how terrible the quality was. This is possibly possibly a $5 frame at a bargain bin somewhere. Good thing is that Amazon refunded my purchase and I don t have to send this trash back to them. My biggest regret is all the waste this frame created, from the packaging to the effort it took to get it to me.1
