Description

  • HELPS CORRECT SPINAL POSTURE OF THE NECK: The D shaped center cradles the head as the cervical roll supports the neck. Helps restore proper curvature of the spine. Commonly used to help treat a variety of conditions affecting the neck and shoulders.
  • VERY FIRM: The D shaped center helps deliver better back sleeping by cradling the head and allowing the built-in neck roll to firmly support the neck. IMPORTANT: It may take time to adjust. The pillow is working to help restore proper posture during sleep.
  • CHOOSE A SIZE: Most men and taller women prefer the full size (24x16 inches). Most women, petite men, and children over 10 prefer the Midsize (22x15 inches).
  • YOU MAY NEED TO ADJUST: Immediate overuse may increase neck pain. Most users who slowly ease their way into orthopedic correction achieve the best results. Alternate D-Core and current pillow while body adjusts. Shaped center is not for side sleeping.
  • USING A CORRECTIVE PILLOW CAN EASE PAIN from tension headaches, neck injury, and arthritis. MADE IN USA. Nonallergenic, 100 percent virgin polyester fiber fill. Cover 50/50 cotton/polyester blend. Fits standard size pillow case.

Customer Reviews

Great at First, Short Life Span Was glad to see it was made in USA but it under-performed. I use the small side of the pillow for my neck. The first couple of weeks of use were wonderful. Then the interior fill began to noticeably break down. It is now very soft and offering minimal support. (Flipping the pillow with regularity made no difference.) On the other hand, the sides of the pillow are extremely firm & side sleeping yields a sore ear. Could have lived with this if the neck support had maintained its firmness. I am now back to searching for a pillow that will do what this one initially did, but has a realistic life expectancy. 2Finally found comfort after years of searching I have 3 ruptured cervical disk from a car accident and have tried many different pillows and pillow arrangements trying to get comfortable. Nothing I tried was successful until now. I LOVE this pillow. For back sleeping, I have never been so comfortable. Side sleeping is also the best I've had in years, but took me a few trials before I learned how to turn the pillow slightly at an angle to nest my head and neck in a just right spot. I am about to order another one so I have a spare because I never want to be without it! 5Side sleeper info After testing many pilows and most not meeting what I consider good support, I decided to order this one, many of the reviews were good. The design looks great, as I have been looking for neck support. When the pillow arrived, I was excited pulling it from the box, it looks just like the photo. I put my pillow case on and was ready to try it out. I decided to read the instructions, something I don't usually do, it says for side sleepers to sleep on the end of the pillow, I tried it the other way,(like you would usually use a pillow) and not enough support for side sleeping, so I turned it to the side, it did offer more support, but now I have to slide down in the bed, way down. Support was ok for the 1st night, but by 2nd night, it was flat, so I turned pillow to the other end, same thing, by 2nd night, it was also flat. So, the pillow did not meet any expectation that I hoped for, but the company took care of me, So, I cannot give it a 1 star nor a 5 star. Unless I received a wrong item, I do not think it is firm as stated. So my search continues, and yes, I have tried many, from regular filled, to memory foam and water filled. This may work for you, as it has for many, I posted my thoughts just for information. 3Quality sleep at last. My normal pillow was giving me problems at night as I would wake in the middle of the night, a restless night sleep, or at worst wake up with a kink in my neck as the old conventional pillow wouldn't hold its form.Since I'm a back sleeper the dip on the middle of the pillow keeps my head straight at night. The neck support has two different sizes depending on what you prefer. Just turn the pillow 180 degrees. When turning on my side the raised part of the pillow supports my head comfortably for side sleepers. The way the pillow is made and materials keep it in its shape. It's been a few months now and it is in the same shape as when I opened it up.The D-core pillow is able to fit normal sized pillow cases easily. No need to buy new pillow cases. My wife stole my first D-core pillow so I bought a second one for myself. Definitely worth every penny as I can get mch better quality of sleep waking up with no neck pain from conventional pillows. 5Awesome coming from someone with severe neck, back, & migraine issues Rarely would I ever consider writing a review on a pillow after the 1st night because when it comes to pillows and I, it's a hate hate relationship. 1st let me give a bit of a background on me... I have cervical spinal stenosis forming in my central and facet parts of my vertebrae. I also have 2 bulges in my cervical spine as well as a herniated disc and bulges elsewhere lower down. I get migraines, and I mean full blown migraines where I'm vomiting and can't even be around anything with a scent or light. This all stems from my shoulder and neck areas. Now about my history with pillows....it's near impossible to find one to suit me and actually help with these issues. I've tried them all, all the new shiny ones you can find as a special at places like Costco, Bed Bath & Beyond, etc... I just can not find a pillow I can even make it past the 1st night without waking up worse then when I started with or reaching for my old pillow which doesn't do a good job but is better then 'breaking one in' and suffering a horrible migraine. That all changed last night, I received this D-Core cervical pillow yesterday on time with my prime membership in a clean, new package. I threw it on my couch and took a 30 min. siesta(since I'm pregnant I totally need it mid day) and has used this, well the nap went so good I couldn't wait for bedtime with now high hopes. I did wake up a few times throughout the night because it is firm, but the weird thing is it didn't hurt, I just think since I'm not used to the shape and firmness it just caught me off guard. None the less I found myself not having to constantly fluff and stuff my pillow throughout the night and was able to easily fall back asleep. Fast forward to my alarm going off this morning and I actually woke up refreshed!! My neck didn't kill me like every other single morning!!!! I couldn't believe it! Is it possible to actually not have to have a painful 'break in' period on an amazing pillow?! So as of now this sucker is rated 5 stars in my book. I'll update my rating and review if this changes. But for now I'm wondering why I didn't just spend the 20 something dollars before now instead of upwards of $100 on other pillows that never worked. If you have serious issues like I do with your back and neck and dibilitating headaches please do yourself a favor and just give this pillow a try. I am seriously SO glad I did. 5Deflated after a week I got this pillow because I kept having a sore neck and back. For the first week, the pillow did a great job. But then it deflated. Okay, that's not a great word to describe it, but it's the best one I can think of. To explain: As you can see from the picture, the pillow had four edges. They are thick, very solid, and unmoving. At least, they were at first. After a week, though, the edge I was putting my neck on flattened out so it was like any other pillow, and I stopped getting any support. Nobody else has posted about this (that I noticed), so it might just be me and my fat head, but I originally got this pillow, because it looked firm - and I was disappointed. 1Great Pillow This was my third purchase of this pillow - I'm slowly but surely adding all the family members to the D-Core Pillow. The first few nights are weird and awkward sleeping on it but, then you can't sleep without it! LOVE LOVE LOVEIf you have shoulder or neck problems, disorders or popping issues, these pillows seem to resolve that. Or even frequent headache problems. We're not Dr's, nor claim to be, but we love these pillows for the above reasons! 5That s a yes from me :) This is my second purchase from D-Core. I purchased the midsize pillow this time. It looks like a normal size pillow to me. It is a firm pillow which I prefer. Pillows are a personal preference. So the reviews will be based on what someone likes when they sleep. For me, I m a back sleeper so this pillow craddles my neck which I love. The quality is great and it s made in the US.Sweet Dreams. :) 5Only works if you re a stationary sleeper This may work if you re a really stationary sleeper. The material is really hard and cheap feeling. The dip in the middle is pretty small and all the sides are raised really high... If you can keep yourself in the dip all night then I feel like it would be able to relieve tension. However, I move around quite a bit when I sleep, so I somehow ended up sleeping on my side with my chin tucked in and back all hunched for a really long time on the right raised side of the pillow, because it s so high up and firm that it doesn t even go down when I lay on it. I ended up waking up with the worst neck and upper back pain. I couldn t even tilt my head front or backwards at all. 1Didn't work for me. I had such high hopes for this pillow. I have a lot of neck tension and related pain. It can be triggered or aggravated by sleeping on it wrong, so I'm always looking for something that might minimize that risk. Unfortunately, this pillow go into the stack of unusable "ergonomic" pillows that made things worse rather than better. I think the issue is that the height isn't right for my neck. It might work for you, but it didn't work for me. 2
