cools the bed more then othersyou get a better nights sleep when you don't wake up at night sweating. 5Love this mattress protectorThis mattress cover cost a FRACTION of what I'd have had to shell out at the store where I bought my new mattress. The bamboo/viscose rayon is a delight to sleep on -- no noise, no sweating, like it isn't even there. Yet having looked at it well before purchasing, it's clearly waterproof. Very pleased with my purchase. I would add that I wear a line of sweaters that are made with rayon derived from bamboo -- and those sweaters "breathe" and never cause me to overheat. So I felt the mattress protector would work the same way, and it has. Very comfy sleep. 5Highly recommend, mattress is spotless after many accidentsI'll put one of these on every mattress I own for the rest of my life, as long as they continue to make them. I have one on my king size Casper mattress, and it has saved my mattress from dog pee, coffee spills, and (a large amount of) human pee after a night of heavy drinking. I recently had to throw away my guest mattress to dog pee because it had a different mattress cover on it that the furniture store sold me, but it was nowhere near as good as this one. I bought one of these covers for the replacement mattress, and I am confident that it will keep my new mattress safe. This is a phenomenal product. 5Cool Down Memory FoamRecently purchased a nice 10" memory foam type mattress, loved the support it provides, but woke up hot each morning, ugh! This mattress protector solved that problem, it makes my new mattress feel comfortable like it should. I wake up refreshed instead of sweaty. If you need to cool down your memory foam, this will do the trick. 5No Noise, Comfortable Temperature, Great Quality!!!I am very impressed with this mattress pad. I have a 5in memory foam on top of my mattress because of having hip problems and it causes me to get very hot and not only that I have bad allergies. I have tried this mattress pad out for the last four nights and it doesn't feel like it's cold to the touch but it does keep my body at a normal comfortable temperature so I can actually sleep better at night. Also, the pad is really soft and doesn't make any noises or effects the feel of my memory foam mattress pad, which is a big plus. Mine came with a very nice thank you note and a surprise. 5Sleeping coolerI bought this pad protector based on reviews for those people who needed to cool a too hot bed. We bought a new Tempuredic bed 6 months ago, and even though it is supposed to have "diamond cooling technology", I found the bed to be too hot. I would wake 3 to 5 times per night drenched in sweat. We live along the Gulf coast and sleep with AC and a ceiling fan most of the year. I bought bamboo sheets a few months ago in hopes that would help, which it did minimally. I was cautiously optimistic about this pad. But I have to say, it has helped about 75%, which is a success in my books. The pad is good quality, nice to look at, washes nicely (I followed recommended instructions) and fits our king bed perfectly. I'm very happy with this product. 5Update - Still working - Thank You!Update - washed per directions and dried separately, to minimize friction, etc. No issues and still working to keep me cool.Original review - Seriously, I researched the heck to find a mattress cover that would cool me. The one forced on me by the company trapped heat and I needed a relieable replacement and this one nailed it out the gate! Very satisfied. Just received and immediately relieved which = better sleep, no night sweats, sheets off/on. I'm actually cold, which is easier to remedy. 5
