Fits My Space Perfectly I was looking for a table to fit in a narrow space between a recliner and a wall. This one fit the bill perfectly. It is 24-3/8" high and the table top is 23" x 11". Below the table top the outside dimension is 20-1/2" x 8-1/2". The storage compartment is 3-3/4" deep. The lower shelf is 5" high. Assembly was very easy and the instructions very clear. The fasteners are countersunk and hidden with decorative wood plugs. The pre-installed hinges for the flip top are concealed when the lid is closed allowing a smooth flush tabletop. The hinge operation is very smooth and solid-feeling. The flip top is half the table top so it covers the entire fixed portion when flipped open. I positioned the table so the flip top opens from the back which allows better access to the entire storage compartment while seated in the chair. I've been using this for about six months and the finish seems durable. 5Superb quality for a very good price. I was looking for less bulky pieces due to the size of my couch and recliner. My prior full sized tables just took up way too much room at 27" X 27" and 24" tall. I needed something at least 24" tall, but a much smaller footprint otherwise. I got this and another piece made by the same company and together they are exactly what I was looking for in regards to appearance. The quality is solid, the hardware is quality, and it's real wood (I know because I drilled holes for cords). They are light but sturdy. 5Read my review on how to get the shelf to fit properly without force, damage, sanding etc. I'll start off saying I'm a 46 year old woman. I like to think I am pretty handy when it comes to putting things together or repairing things, that being said I felt like the assembly on this table was super easy. The only problem I ran into was the wooden buttons did not want to stay in, so I had to get out the wood glue to secure them. I have read several reviews of people stating that the bottom shelf did not fit properly, they had to wedge, struggle, scratch the legs, trim off, sand down etc. here is the trick which is NOT stated in the instructions. While the table is upside down and you are putting the legs on, do not completely tighten the first 4 screws. This will give the legs some play and you will be able to then just sit the shelf right in. Tighten the screws holding the shelf then go back and completely tighten the first 4 screws (these are the ones up near the table top. Easy peasy, and it's a cute little table! 5Very nice table overall Very nice table overall, and great for the price. Pretty solidly built, but there are some real oddities about the construction:* The sides of the upper storage area are attached to the top with cam-and-bolt assembly, but the cam locks face inside and the pieces are too close to get a screwdriver in there. I had to take my screwdriver bit off, clamp onto it with locking pliers, and turn them that way.* The bottom of the storage area is an HDF panel that slides into grooves. Not the sturdiest thing, but I don't imagine anyone would put anything too heavy in there so it's probably okay.* The instructions say to glue the wooden joint dowels in (and they include a bottle of wood glue), which struck me as completely unnecessary. I've built tons of flat pack furniture with this same kind of assembly, and never before have the instructions said to do this. They also include a colored pencil, but never indicate to mark anything.* There's also a step missing from the instructions, but if you have any sense about you you'll figure it out.Despite all of that, the table is very nice and looks great. The hinged top is well built and the storage is great. The one weird thing that makes me take 1 star off is that the top only opens on one side, so it's easy for stuff to get pushed back away from the opening, making it hard to reach.Oh, and humorously, the label on the bottom says "Made in Chian". 4Really happy with these tables. Perfect size for a small room. I bought two of these tables & so far I really love them. They seem to be built pretty solid and are small enough that they don't get in the way but big enough that they hold everything I need. I really like how when you open the table it flips all the way back so that it does not put strain on the hinges. 5Customer service is terrible, better hope everything is perfectly packed! This table. What a nightmare we went through to put it together! I ordered one of these as an end table for our sofa, it came in the mail, I put it together, no problems. So why the nightmare? My mother in law ordered us another one for the other side of the sofa. So begins our tale of end table woe.You see, table #2 did not come with a part #2. They packed it with two parts #3 instead. The parts are the sides of the drawer and have two holes for the cams to fit into, a notch for the bottom of the drawer to slide into, and two holes on the end for the screws to hold the legs pieces on. They are mirrored to face one another, so part #3 could not fit where part #2 was supposed to go - the cams would be on the wrong side.I email customer service, and they email back and say no problem, we'll send you part #2. A month later YET ANOTHER PART #3 was delivered. Email again (with a picture of what is now THREE #3 parts), they email back and say no problem, we'll send you part #2. Months go by, no part #2 is ever delivered. This company is the pits; I give up.So, I set about to assemble this thing despite the lack of necessary parts - I determine that using another small rail of wood, I can screw the rail to the top of the drawer and the part #3 to mimic what part #2 was supposed to be doing. I find some screws and cobble it together. But wait, now the holes for the legs are much too big, and the rail slot is too narrow by a lot. Not only had these jokers sent me part #3 again, they sent a wrongly cut part #3!!! What jerks!!! Fortunately (or unfortunately), I have so many of this part #3, that I can throw that one away and try again. Lucky for me, it works this time and the table goes together... 7 months after purchase.The moral of the story is, this company is pretty bad at what they do. Absolutely not worth the time and energy and frustration for two little end tables! 1Great narrow table for a small space I needed a bedside table with a little storage for my guest room. There wasn't a lot of space next to the bed without crowding the room. This table is very narrow, but has the nice addition of the lift of the front half of the lid so you can put something away if you need to like a phone or remote. It fits perfectly in the space, and the dark espresso color perfectly matches the bed frame in the room, which coincidently is the Zinus Faux Leather Classic Platform Bed Frame that I ordered also through Amazon. Plenty of room for a small lamp on the back half of the table that doesn't open, and I coupled it with a USB hub so that my guests can charge their devices at the bedside. You could, potentially drill a hole to run a cable in through the back of the table so you could charge in the compartment below. I didn't need that level of functionality but if it was in my every day bedroom, or next to a couch I might take the extra step.Very easy to assemble, I put it together in about 15 minutes. You do need a phillips head screw driver - it comes with an allen wrench but that doesn't fit all the screws. Arrived in great condition, no damage, all the parts are labeled. Lovely little table, feels very solid. Good product for the price. This is real wood, not pressboard, which doesn't typically hold up. If I ever need a similar small table for another area, I would absolutely get another. 5Very easy to assemble, looks great! Following the advice of a previous customer that reviewed this table, I left the front and back leg supports a little bit loose so that I could get the lower shelf installed without scratching the legs. Voila! No problem at all. I like the look of this narrow table. The finish is nice and the little storage area will suffice for small objects which is all I wanted it for anyway. The only negative -- the stickers they used to mark the components. I had a little trouble getting one of them off, and using my fingernail, scratched a little bit of the finish off. I used the scratch covering crayon but it's a little bit of a different color. I have another marker that I think will cover it up. I probably should have left the sticker on, I don't think it would have even shown the way the table is arranged in my room. Overall, very happy with this little table! 4It's perfect for what I needed - the space between my ... It's perfect for what I needed - the space between my bed and window is too narrow for a night stand. This solved the space problem AND the storage problem. I use it for my CPAP machine and store the supplies in it! Fantastic! 5Great lil table Fantastic little table! Easier to put together than ikea. Came with a wax pencil to cover up future scratches and an extra peg that hides screws.Putting cardboard piece over a peg and hammering it in with a rubber hummer helped me drive in the pegs, with bare hands I could only get it in a bit with it popping back up.It looks great. Compartment is roomy considering that a drawer would waste space with double walls, I can comfortably hide a wireless keyboard and a magic trackpad with some other items in it.Bottom shelf fits baskets nicely, creating extra storage. 5
