Good product at a good priceJust as described. Good product at a good price. Highly recommend.5Works well. I used the wider edge on thinner ...Works well. I used the wider edge on thinner boards and had no trouble cutting to size and reusing the left over strips.4Wonderful productGreat product. Used it to trim some tables in the church kitchen. It is easy to use and very bendable. I can recommend it.5Great replacement for formicaI needed to replace the front edging on the inside "L" of a formica desk and this worked perfectly. It was a little brittle (I stepped on one end and cracked it, but had enough left to finish the job), was very easy to hold in place with masking tape, cut to rough size with an Exacto knife and iron on I put alumnium foil over the base of my iron in case any glue leaked and removed the masking tape prior to ironing in that spot. It was thinner than the broken formica strip I removed, so in future, I would be sure to fill in any voids in the plywood. Used a veneer edge trimmer to trim excess from the bottom of the Melamin and the slight overhang of the original Formica. Then backed up the Melamin from the front with heavy cardboard to trim the end from behind. Also, inside corner of the desk wasn't perfectly square, but I was able to do a close cut prior to install, then run an Exacto in the corner to get an even final cut. Very happy with results.4Thinner than expectedI wish it was made thicker4Strong and durableGreat5Five StarsGreat price. 2" is tricky to find.5It's okay, shrunk and shifted a little on vertical installationIt shrunk a little upon installation, I was using it as a corner bead for a utility door in the garage I was building and needed to finish off some less than ideal looking corner wood joints that I couldn't replace. I put on the one side of the corner lengthwise on the hinge side of the door and used my heat gun on low to attach it. I then put on the other length on the other side of the corner and put that on starting at the top so it stuck and I could roll it down as it heats up. That's when I noticed the left side (behind the hinges) had shifted slightly due to shrinkage.I've put on this type of veneer on laminate countertops before so not my first application, but this shrunk and shifted in a way that I won't be able to fix it. It's good enough as it's just a utility cabinet but it was nowhere near as clean as it could have looked had it not shifted in the one spot at the end of the run.3Easy to apply, looks great.I bought a piece of furniture from Ikea that was meant to be against the wall, hence the back was exposed MDF. However, I wanted that exposed MDF back to be covered. I went to YouTube University to learn how to properly apply edge binding. While I didn t have the exact tools used by the person in the video, I had good alternatives for everything and was able to install the edge binding without having to buy any extra supplies. I think the key is careful placement and to start ironing in the middle of a run rather than at an end. Heat a little, adjust it if needed, use a wood block (or rolling pin) to roll over the heated section to make sure it sticks well, and then move on. Doing one section at a time like that, I got a perfect application with no slipping, wrinkling, or cracking. I removed the excess with my folding box knife, and I filed the edges with a file I had around the house until all the edges were smooth. It couldn t have gone any better. I m a pro now!5Great productUsed this to repair missing/ broken edging on a white formica countertop. Cut to size and trimmed ends with an exacto blade, taped the ends in place, covered with a cloth napkin, and used a hot iron to activate the glue. Worked perfectly. In less than 10 minutes, the repair was complete. I waited for it to dry then sanded the seam to blend with the existing countertop.5
