    Good amount for priceJust got these in today so have not used them with kids yet. I bought them for actual photos of items to help supplement learning for my daughter and kids I babysit. Here is my 1st impressionPros: There are a lot of cards for the price, large easy to see images, great for receptive and expressive learning, much cheaper than competitors cardsCons: cards may not hold up long overtime (can be easy fix by laminating though), some pictures are little blurry to eye, some images are outdated, personally not a fan of some of the farm animals having tags on themMy main purpose was the animals and food categories though. I wanted qaulity real life images and not just clipart pictures. This set has lots of animals and good amount of food (could be lot more though) so definitely works for my purpose. 4Good, could use some improvementsI Really enjoy these cards;however, my only take away would be when it shows these emotions it should have children of all races making those same emotions. My son is very impressionable & I think it s caused confusion for him to think he should be sad or act sad. I suggest some revision. Helps me as a parent to know what areas he needs to improve on. Highly recommend if your child is falling behind with any type of language/communication skill. 5Very clear realistic pictures.My daughter is 3 with a speech delay. i bought these cards to be able to grow with her. We both love them. The pictures are large and clear. the questions on the back are great however we really haven't gotten there yet. I love being able to have flash cards for her that have real life pictures on them for her to compare it to. My daughter will grab this box during learning time, and pull out her favorites to say. Long story short, he is behind because of "people" still treating him like hes a baby. These cards have been a huge help! It really encourages him to talk about whats going on in the pictures. Something about it being real pictures seems to help as well. 5Worth the PurchaseI absolutely love this box. I plan to get the one for older children as well. I know other visual cards can be costly and will not include as many subjects as this one does. It has been helpful to use for my children with social pragmatic communication disorder and autism. I definitely recommend this for anyone looking for worthwhile visual cards to teach language and communication. 5Excellent Opening to Practicing LanguageThe cards are colorful, involve multiple language developments steps (i.e. pronouns, verbs, adjectives, placement words) and gives good opening questions for the parent to practice with their child. My child was diagnosed with receptive/expressive delays, and using these cards, which show children, animals, and scenes from his everyday life help coax him into talking, explaining, describing, and practicing the words he needs to learn.This is an excellent way to build up vocabulary and pronunciation. 5Great for language development.These cards are great for developing receptive/expressive language skills, and conversational skills. As a speech therapist, I use them to build vocabulary, increase utterance length, improve auditory comprehension, improve topic maintenance, and occasionally for articulation. There are several cards for a variety of categories (e.g., foods, school supplies/activities, emotions, basic concepts, actions, forest/jungle/ocean/farm animals, etc.). There are also a variety of questions on the back of each card (yes/no, Wh-, and inference questions). These cards can be used across a variety of activities. 5Nice setAs a speech therapist, I appreciate this set. I like that the cards are big and the pictures are of higher quality. I like the thickness of the cards and that it comes with questions on the back to facilitate language. I also like the variety of items in this set. There are people doing things (though I wish there were more boys in the pictures...I used these for pronouns and I had a lot fewer "he" than "she" and "they"), animals, colors, feelings, and objects/items. This is not the most functional way to teach language, but it is good to use if a child would benefit from more structured and direct teaching. You can use the questions on the back as inspiration to ask similar questions when you are in a more functional/play environment as well. Overall, this is a nice set but I wish the actions pictures were modified slightly. 4
