Customer Reviews

Fits my Bunn perfectlyFits my Bunn BTX coffee maker perfectly. I have issues with coffee grounds getting in my coffee if I use regular coffee filters. No problem with that with these filters. They fit perfectly. need They aren't too short where grounds can wash over the sides. I won't buy any other brand now. They are also in a box that opens at the top for easy storage and I can easily remove the filter as I need it. 5... with a number of paper coffee filters that were perfect for this machineI have a BUNN NHS Velocity Brew 10-Cup Home Coffee Brewer that came with a number of paper coffee filters that were perfect for this machine. These BUNN BCF100-B 100-Count Basket replacement Filters were purchased to use when the original supply of paper filters ran out.On the box of Bunn Genuine filters appears the slogan which reads "Our Filters Tower above the rest". While this is a nice slogan, my experience with these filters is such that these filters do not tower quite high enough. When emptying the basket of coffee with the filter, you can see how the coffee grounds go all the way up to the top of the filter and in most places, even above the filter paper rim onto the sides of the plastic brew basket. Disposing of the filter and trapped coffee grounds tends to be a messy proposition as there is no room to grab the filter without getting grounds all over your fingers. They are supposed to be the only filter Bunn recommends but these come up short in my opinion. The filter, it seems, needs to be just a quarter inch higher to prevent coffee grounds from flowing over the paper rim. So far no grounds in the coffee pot, but cleaning the brew basket tends to be more of a cleanup and grounds need to be rinsed from the basket itself. The original filters shipped with out Bunn Coffee Maker were taller and there was no mess. I'm looking to see if there is another Bunn filter that is meant for 12 cup brewers which perhaps might just be the difference maker. 3Not quite tall enoughNot sure why these are marked BUNN because they are not tall enough to properly hold coffee in my BUNN brewer. When we bought our machine, it came with a sample pack of filters and they were wonderful. We figured buying only BUNN replacement filters would ensure a correct fit. We were surprised to see the price was higher for these name brand filters, and then totally disappointed in how they hold (or didn't hold!) the grinds. Each and every brewed pot yielded an overflow of grinds. We were not guilty of over filling, we know how to make coffee. I am going to write or phone BUNN, they've always been helpful with other questions about the machine, and see what they suggest. I love my coffee machine, but I don't like tasting grinds in the cup. 2like seasoning!wow, never using any other coffee filter again, you will not believe the power of these filters until you use them! I'm never using toilet paper again! I'm all for defying convention, but when it comes to my coffee--after experimenting with old socks and bits of toilet paper scraps i would scrounge up--I'm a filter addict for life.If you want coffee grinds in your coffee, and these filters are too efficient, you can always sprinkle them in after the coffee is brewed, like seasoning! 5Does the job, but spendyBunn's coffee filters are significantly taller (and twice as expensive), compared to coffee filters available in supermarkets. They MUST be used in Bunn's high-speed coffee makers unless you like your coffee weak and don't use much ground coffee. Shorter-sided filters will overflow with all that water entering the filter in only three minutes. But Bunn's filters do a great job. The paper they're made of is thicker than that found in other brands, which may explain why coffee made with these filters seems less bitter-tasting than coffee made with standard filters in other brands. If you like your coffee a little bitter (full-flavored?), you'll prefer using a reusable coffee filter basket; the Perma-Brew 3-Year Re-useable Filter works well, but finely ground coffee will leave a little sludge at the bottom of your cup. 4Don't "settle" for cheapBUNN Products - BUNN - Coffee Filters, 10/12-Cup Size, 100 Filters/Pack - Sold As 1 Pack - Fits most 10-12 cup Bunn coffee brewers. I've tried the cheap coffee filters found in grocery stores and they simply do not work in my Bunn 10-12 cup coffee maker. The Bunn filters purchased at Amazon, which are specifically made to work in the Bunn coffe maker, are sized so that the grounds of the coffee do not overflow. This overflow of coffee can damage your coffee maker. Also, these coffee filters prevent the "bitter" taste that the other filters cause. In the mornings, I wake up, set up the Bunn Coffee Pot with filters, coffee, and water. I'm having my coffee within 5 minutes and enjoying my cup of java! Makes for an enjoyable day. 5I was very disappointed that they were not the appropriate sizeThis filter was paired with the Bunn BXB (10 cup) coffee maker I bought. I was very disappointed that they were not the appropriate size. The free filters that came with the Bunn worked great, these Bunn filters were not tall enough and resulted in a messy leak. ( on the Bunn filter box it says "Taller Filters. Less Mess.") I went to grocery store and bought 12 cup commercial filters on the cheap that work great. I would be very careful using these filters with a Bunn BXB. 1These Bunn filters absolutely do "tower above the rest"The instructions that came with my Bunn coffee machine were serious: you really DO need to buy Bunn filters. The paper on their filters is different, and the height of their filters is critically different. Use a non-Bunn filter and you will invariably end up with grounds in your coffee cup, as those are too short to work properly with the Bunn high-velocity spray.FYI: I have re-ordered these filters numerous times on Amazon, and have always gotten a different box than what is pictured. My Bunn filters come in a tan and brown box as I show in the attached photo. 5Filter FracasI am very fond of the Bunn Coffee maker. The extra large filters work just fine, but now we are locked-in to them. Yeah, I know I can always use available smaller filters or a permanent filter and only pour in half the water, then wait and pour the rest, but the price of forgetting - early in the morning - is grounds in the coffee or overflow on the counter and floor. This also gives Bunn a large edge over other filter makers on sales of their proprietary sized filters. I thought it was time to look for a restaurant supply company. Unfortunately they sell gargantuan urn filters! Instead, I chose to subscribe to Bunn filters on Amazon! 5Same size as any standard coffee filter. Do they ...Same size as any standard coffee filter. Do they not understand the filter bowl is alot bigger than these filters. We need bigger filters in the filter bowls. im tired of drinking coffee grounds. I have bun GRB velocity brew purchased at walmart. make sure you dont use these filters 1
