    Great torch (for a few months)About 2 months into owning this torch and using it daily, the bottom plate broke off while refilling. The only thing keeping it on is a small screw with a thin head that can easily break through the plastic. 3 months later, it lost the ability to strike itself. the arc is created, but for some reason the gas does not ignite. 2Works wellI love the blazer brand, I had a purple one that broke (I dropped it) so this a almost perfect replacement! (It would be perfect if it was purple)The flame starts every time, it is very reliable 5Poor performance.BLAZER is usually my go-to when it comes to torches. I own many different models for various uses. However this model does not meet expectations. Ignitor must be engaged many times before flame ignites and the steady on switch rarely works. 1Best torch I've ever usedI've owned 7 or 8 torches since 2014 and this is by far the best I've ever used. I've owned everything from a $50 torch to a $10 torch and all in between. Nothing comes close to this feel and functionality. Easy to fill and the butane lasts. If you're looking for a torch just buy this because if you don't you will be looking for another torch within a year. No cap 5It turns itself offI was making creme brulee and was caramelizing the sugar at the end using my Blazer torch and realized that if, God forbid, I had a heart attack or stroke (I'm in my 70s), the torch I'm holding will continue to burn if I drop it. I looked and found a torch that had an automatic turn-off. The flame itslef is HUgE (if your looking for that) :even on the lowest setting the flame is still pretty big: It holds butane like a champ. Even with heavy frequent use, I only refill about once a week. Dont waste your money on other torches if seeking for daily use.
