Precautions...Okay, don't even consider using the "sticky tape". It fell off the same day. Luckily, it wasn't damage too bad and I was still able to put products in it. Although, I did have to superglue the mounting clip back on from the fall. We had to screw it in behind the containers to secure it. If you have tile, I wouldn't recommend doing this because it will most likely crack the tile. Also, check if there are pipes or anything behind. When I tried putting shampoo in one of them, it wouldn't come out at all. The shampoo was too thick, so I had to put water in it to thin it out. Otherwise, look for thinner shampoo or conditioner. I've had this for about 6 months, and its been fine ever since. 3Love, love, love! Will buy again for 2nd bathroom.This is the best investment I've made in ages! I love this product. This has truly de-cluttered my shower. I only have a small corner 3 tiered shelf and with my husband and I liking 2 different body washes and shampoo products, it didn't take long to be overrun in bottles. Add in razors and bath sponges, it was a mess.We used the epoxy and the double sided tape that came with the dispenser. It came with enough tape for the corners, but I added some tape we had in the middle as well. Of course we waited the 24 hours the instructions called for before we added the 3 filled tanks and have had no problems with it falling or becoming loose. We haven't tried to move it though, so I can't say how easy or hard it would be to change it's location or take it down all together.The dispenser holds plenty of product and we emptied all our various types of products into the tanks so it freed up space in our cabinet as well. Also it comes with labels for any visitors to know which tank holds what type of product. 5Second time buyingWe purchased the old two chamber white model about five years ago. We've never had a single problem. I don't know why other people have had an issues. Just wash down the surface with bathroom cleaner, let dry, use some rubbing alcohol on the surface to really get it clean and it's good to go. It says in the instructions to use all of the silicone adhesive and that's what we did. Maybe they didn't use enough? Also, make sure the adhesive is place on the tile and not over a grout line. I believe this is another reason it is more structurally sound for us.We're very happy with this three chamber one. I have to use a special shampoo and the extra chamber allows me a place for it. 5Shattered to pieces spraying soap everywhereThe silicone included in this kit did not bind to the plastic of the dispenser. I used the whole tube and the double sided stickers, cleaning the surfaces as directed then letting it cure for over 24 hours. Within 48 hours of putting soap in it took a dive bomb and exploded 3 full amounts of soap and shatters the plastic holders. The silicone and tape is still stuck to the wall and needs to be razor blades off but not a spec of it was on the Despenser. Buyer beware and buy your own bonding agent!! 1One of the three chambers leaks shower gel continuously from the bottom; dispenses shower gel one very small drop at a timeI have had two problems with this product in the one week I have had it installed.First, one of the three chambers leaks. It drips down to the edge of the tub and then into the tub. I purchased this item a few months ago but due to a busy fall travel schedule I just installed it last weekend. I have only used this product for one week. I have tried emptying the shower gel and refilling/re-priming it. Since I use green L'Occitane Verbena shower gel it creates a really ugly puddle at the base of the shower. The other two chambers do not leak. Now this thing is stuck to the tile and I am not sure how to get it off?Second, this product dispenses my shampoo at a reasonable rate, but the shower gel comes out one small drop at a time. Enough soap to wash 1/4 of a foot! I have primed both chambers using the same technique. It seems odd because the shampoo is much thicker than the shower gel. 2Great but needs shipping improvements!Would have been 5 stars had they arrived unbroken. I purchased three of the 3-chambered dispenser racks & two of the packages were broken. I understand I could return/exchange, but who likes to HAVE TO do that when you're paying over $100 in total. I think they broke during shipping. On 2 of them, only the right single dispensers were broken. The plastic latches that attach to the mounting rack were broken off the dispensers. I super glued one, and used double-sided tape for the other. With that, it just means I cannot pull two dispensers off to refill; but the dispensers all have removable caps. Should you have to rig it yourself, make sure you prime your dispensers before taping it to the rack!The design looks very nice and it doesn't feel cheap. You don't feel like you're going to break it when pushing the button to dispense your soaps. I expected each rack to come with 1 hook in between each dispenser, but there are 2 (totaling 4 hooks) which was a great surprise! The package came with MANY different stickers to label your dispensers, I just opted for the simple shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel labels. The package also includes two mounting options: temporary and permanent. Temporary is double-sided tape and the permanent uses silicone glue. I used the tape and it feels secure. I really like this product, but would recommend buying it in a store (if available) as opposed to having it shipped. 3Excellent - with some caveats...I played with the idea of utilizing all natural body wash as I live in a small town, and the supermarkets around me stopped carrying the brand of glycerine bar soap that I use (have sensitive skin). While glycerine based soaps were available at the pharmacy, their cost made them prohibitive other than to use as a facial or selective area usage.Due to the high rating of these dispensers, I purchased them and utilized them for one month - full disclosure, I did abandon the idea of body washes after that month due to many reasons; the dispenser was a very minor part (outlined below), while the majority was beyond the dispensers scope (and I found an online retailer for my favorite glycerine bar soap - hurray!). Here's my review of it:INSTALLATION - Small, acrylic shower stall with three glass sides in a bay window form. The installation is easy and straightforward, if you follow the instructions. It is vital to ensure that you clean and dry the surface well; I cleaned well, then followed after drying with another good cleaning of alcohol (and another drying) just to make sure there was no mineral reside left. You do have to use all the double-sided foam tape as well as the silicone adhesive and allow it 24 hours to cure before hanging the chambers and utilizing this unit. This is my only shower stall so my strategy was that I showered on Friday morning, immediately installed the unit, and then could laze about sleeping in on Saturday morning before using the shower stall again to ensure the hanging mount had enough time to cure.FILLING/PRIMING - The chambers hold a surprising amount of gel and shampoo (in my case), and are versatile as they come with several stick on labels for each chamber to customize to your requirement - bodywash, shampoo, conditioner, etc. - all the labels are there; simply peel and stick. Pop the chamber top off, fill the chamber after putting on the label, hang on the mount, and then prime. It is imperative to follow directions on priming so make sure you read them before getting mad and hateful in your review because the pumps don't work, or don't dispense as expected. Also, ensure you refill as required *BEFORE* the chambers empty completely (like your fuel tank, think about it around 3/4 empty) or you will have to re-prime them again if they "go dry."PROS -The units are extremely attractive with a shiny chrome, modern finish and although plastic - seem to be quite sturdy and the mount is excellent when properly installed and cured. The lids on the top have a small lip that will "snap" the lids on to keep them in place, but they are by no means sealed or airtight. The chambers themselves are "flat-bottomed;" this is really convenient as they can be sat on a counter without support to be filled and/or cleaned, or if the chambers need to be removed to clean the shower stall. If using for body wash with a mesh pouf, a few squirts is all that is required for a generous amount of lather that should well last the entire washing cycle of the body. I did found however, that the same amount of shampoo didn't quite lather my hair effectively (and I have a very short flat-top); this may due to the thickness of the shampoo so the same number of pumps wasn't delivering an effective amount of product - this would have to be explored with other thicknesses and/or diluting the shampoo a bit with some water so that it is less thick. The mount does feature two "hooks" to hang a pouf, brush, etc. from if necessary.CONS -The unit does have a somewhat "thick" footprint out from the wall, so make sure you hang it out of "movement" dimensions; my shower stall is extremely small and on several occasions while going through my shower habits, I ended up knocking one (or both) chambers off the mounting bracket. This is (to me at least) a design flaw, because the chambers just hang on a small hook on the mount and there is nothing to help secure them or keep them in place if they get jarred (this is how I know the chambers are so sturdy - repeated 4 1/2 to 5 foot drops to the floor of the shower). Even worse, because the lids are not sealed in place, they pop off and spill your product all over the floor of the shower, making it *extremely* slick and unsafe (not to mention expensive).The accessory hooks provided on the mount are next to useless - they are in between the chambers, and are so closely mounted to the chambers (and each other) that it is a challenge getting anything to hang on them; further, anything hung would have to be either (a) at different heights or (b) extremely skinny as their distance from each other would make anything hung from them hit each other. I eventually abandoned the hooks and utilized other shower appliances to hang things.DE-INSTALLATION/REMOVAL -It is possible to uninstall the mount; this is important obviously if you live in an apartment or are renting. To uninstall, remove the chambers, and then using a metal putty knife at a very low angle (almost horizontal to the shower wall), slowly pry the mount from the wall. Once the mount is removed, the silicon adhesive can slowly be pulled off and for trouble areas, gently use the putty knife to separate it from the wall.For the adhesive foam tape (four spots), I used "Goo Gone" and let it set for several minutes, then used a plastic putty knife to gently scrape at it as not to damage the acrylic finish. Took some time, but in the end you can't even tell there was something mounted on the wall.OVERALL/FINAL ASSESSMENT -An excellent product, but because of the non locking chamber tops, easily jarred chambers and useless hooks I am knocking a star off from perfect. If this product were mounted in a large shower space and other accessory hooks were available in the space that would eliminate/mitigate these issues, it would probably make someone extremely happy. 4REALLY NICE DISPENSER, JUST DON'T USE THEIR SILICONEI took a long time in deciding which shower dispenser I wanted, and I feel that I made the perfect choice. Considering that it is all plastic, it really looks nicer than I expected and it not only organizes the bottle mess, but it adds a touch of class to our shower. The one thing I want to stress to anyone considering buying this or any other wall mount shower dispenser is to throw out any included "Made in China" tube of silicone and go out and buy an excellent tube of "Made in USA" GE silicone, and don't be stingy with it. Use a little more than you think you need, and there will be no unpleasant incidents. After it is mounted, I also recommend putting a bead of silicone along the top and side edges to keep water out to avoid the possibility of mold or mildew developing on the backside. As others have already mentioned, the key to priming is to depress the button, place a finger over the tube, and then release the button. This creates a vacuum that gets the product flowing quickly. I performed these steps about 5 times, and I was good to go. 5Not sold as description and way over priced.Where do I start... I researched this a long time before I purchased and I could not be more disappointed at what showed up at my door. I poured over the reviews as we plan on using these in our business so I wanted to get something that was durable and nice looking. I could not have been more disappointed! 1) Product description says 10 fl oz. I could not get 7 fl oz of water in the container. 2) The product description said 4X8X12, these actually measured 2 3/4" X 6 1/4" X 9". 3) to add the most insult to injury, they included an invoice in the package that had each of these priced at $7/piece for a total of $28. Hmm that weird because I paid $39.99 for each of them!! What a rip off!! I'm very disappointed. They also came with NO instructions. Now, I have to go through the pain of returning these. 1Still fell and broke just like the picture posted from other reviewsDouble sided tape does not hold this heavy item, even heavier when shampoo and conditioner inside and it fell and broke. Ive had my other one for 12 years - this is cheap and the double tape and silicone does not hold. If you are going to use it,I strongly suggest filling up half way and not fill it up, because it gets heavy to hold - I even waited 3 days before filling up. Still fell and broke just like the picture posted from other reviews. 1
