But the uncommon level of quality that BenQ (or their own vendor) put into this desk clamp light base is indicative of BenQ in general. Everything is rock-solid and well engineered and executed. The desk lamp this goes with, for example, is beautifully made, moves effortlessly but stays where placed, and the weighted base the clamp replaces is crazy heavy/stable. Everything has the feel of a high end powdercoat.
