Customer Reviews

Magnolia Window Film for Cabinet Window I purchased a second-hand linen cabinet that has plexiglass instead of real glass for the window in the upper door. The original owner scuffed it up to appear like frosted glass but you could still see items in the cabinet that were close to the door. I wanted to completely block the view. The colors in this magnolia print go perfectly with the oak stain of the wood and the film adhered very well to the smooth side of the plexiglass. I laid the plexiglass over the film to determine which section of the print would look best in the window. Concerned that the film would appear too dark since it wasn't on an actual window, I placed white poster board behind the print and plexiglass to brighten up the image. It came out beautifully! I uploaded a photo to show it off. This turned an ordinary piece of furniture into a work of art! 5Looks Great This window film is so pretty, can't hardly tell it's not real stained glass. I had to cut mine down the middle & jigsaw it together on the ends, to use it on my window. It was easy to put up, but you have to make sure it's pushed down flat in the corners & on the edges of the window before you start trimming it. If not it's easy to mess up cutting it. I think it looks great. I'm very happy with it. 5Wow - exceeded expectations We have windows that would not take curtains well but wanted some privacy. This is a window cling without adhesive so it can peel off when you want, but it clings perfectly. It stuck up there very well and looks fantastic. It took me a long time to get all the air bubbles and creases out, and was tricky to cut, but it was worth it. I just love the effect. I got both Magnolia and summer magnolia. I preferred the lighter tones in the summer magnolia. They look great from the inside during the day and great from the outside at night (as light shines through). Would definitely recommend, highly. 5So disappointing I was so excited to have this! I thought about it for almost a year and finally got this one. Put it up in my bathroom. Did every thing correctly, used the spray, squeegee and razor they sell. As I was smoothing out the air pockets the color and pattern began coming off! :-( it's now completely clear on huge spots of my window. Not only that but the measurements where totally off. I ordered 3 of these for my window and there where not one set of straight edges. 1Fades and dracks Not happy after about a year this was on a garden window that gets filtered sunlight. The film cracked like it had stretch marks and when I went to replace it, the color had faded so badly, I now have to re apply to the entire huge multi-paned window. See my photo which shows the old film on the bottom with the cracks and the color difference on top. I did verify that this was the same product as originally applied. I purchased it online and checked the receipt. 1Stainglass window look Looks beautiful from the sidewalk at night with a soft light shining behind it. I've gotten many compliments as passers-by believe it is a real stained glass window. When applying, use a "wet" window to make the vinyl move easier! You can use the squeegee to get the pockets of air out much easier AND move the material into place with a very moist window. I had a water bottle and sprayed sections of the window with a heavy mist before applying the vinyl to the window. It worked perfect and saved a lot of headaches. When trying to apply to a dry window, it was a nightmare. I would buy this again. It could be uded on the shower door, deck door or anywhere that you want privacy. 5A quality product with a hidden bonus In our 40 year-old kitchen, we have a 3 x 3 grid of 2 ft square light panels. In the center panel, I mounted the Magnolia film to the flat shinny underside of a 2 ft square of 1/16" matte acrylic. The film itself appears to be well made, is fairly thick, and easy to apply and re-position. The printing quality is excellent.I originally considered replacing all 9 light panels with the film, but there would have been too much light loss and some color shift. Even with only one panel, both my wife and I really like the look. Other patterns with less color density might have worked, but we really liked the rich intense colors of the Magnolia design. With cool-running LEDs several inches above the light panel, heat wasn't an issue. I did have some concern about adhesion to acrylic on a horizontal surface though. Two weeks now and so far...so good.As a bonus, the inside surface of the heavy peel-off backing makes a pretty decent surface for dry erase markers...a "free" 2' x 3' "white board".The photos show two views of the lit and unlit panel. 5As expected Very pretty window film. I have been looking around for a window film to provide privacy to our bathtub. We have glass boxes (feels like plastic) right where our bath is. You can't really see anything except for shadows and silhouettes during the day, but it's a bit more clear at night when it's dark outside and our bathroom light is on. Some of the window films I've seen are pretty transparent. While this one does have some transparency, it looks pretty good because of the design. I ordered a little small for our window, but it's fine as long as it covers up the most of it. It was VERY easy to set up. Just poured soapy water on the window and stuck it on, then squeegeed, Took less than a minute. 5Such a great product!! I live in a first floor apartment. I used thick curtains to cover up the windows and preserve my privacy, unfortunately this turned my apartment into a bit of a dungeon. Needing more light I did a bit of research and discovered window films. I LOVE stained glass windows and decided these films would be perfect on the windows in my laundry room. The window consists of 6 small panes so I had to cut the sheet to fit each pane (it took 2 orders of the 24x36). I was very meticulous and it took quite a bit of my afternoon to make sure it was perfect but the final result is really stunning.how to use in simple steps:1. put a bit of soap and a lot of water onto a paper towel then clean off window.2. wipe off with another paper towel soaked with water3. dry with paper towels4. measure dimensions and cut accordingly - scissors and a long ruler work, keep placing it up onto the window and trim wherever needed in case you have old oddly shaped windows like I do5. spritz water and wipe evenly over entire glass surface so the whole thing is slightly damp6. stick and readjust7. use squeegee thing to get any bubbles (look at different angles of light or it won't be apparent)I should add: make sure you pay attention to the pattern if you end up using more than one sheet and have weird cut outs so it flows seamlessly from one are to the next. 5Absolutely Beautiful!!! This film is absolutely beautiful. We had a large fixed window to decorate mostly because it is west facing and the setting sun would glare really badly into our dining room. It doesn't eliminate glare but it sure makes the glare pretty. It's now a conversation piece in our home. Our window is bigger than the film so we had to put four of them together to make it work. The film works because the image seamlessly flows from one film to the next, even though it's the same film. You will need a sharp blade to make this work if not using the entire film. I used a box cutter and it worked very well. As you can see in the pictures I posted, out window has a cross-forming pair of bars embedded in the glass. I used those to "hide" where I connect one film to another. I think it worked out very well. 5
