Customer Reviews

So practical, looks good on the counter, clever & easyI love my wine glass racks (I've got two). They are always out on the counter because they look fine, they hold the glasses till I'm ready to put them away -- or if I'm lazy they don't get put away but look sort of decorative hanging on the trees. (I call them wine glass trees.) We have all kinds of stemware -- Champagne glasses, beer glasses, sherry glasses, big goblets by Riedel and Spiegelau -- and they all fit comfortably in the trees. Drying upside down, water does collect around the rim of each glass until it evaporates. Sometimes I take a small cloth and wipe this water circle dry while the glasses are hanging, but mainly I don't bother.Great investment, great value for money, and highly recommended. 5This thing is great, I used it to dry my good and ...This thing is great, I used it to dry my good and very good wine glasses, its sturdy and does not tip when you have only one glass on it, it takes very tall glasses easily. The only glasses I have an issue with are my Dartington glasses which have a thick stem and the stem wont slide into the little gripper thing, but so far everything else with a regular stem is fine. The glasses dry quickly, I stand the dryer on a clean tea towel and the glasses dry in no time with no streaking or spotting. I used to find that standing the glasses upside down directly on the tea towel tended to make the glasses condensate and they would take forever to dry, to combat that I would try and balance them on the end of a plate to allow some air movement but that made them unsteady. The dryer comes apart and the top nestles in the bottom so it is relatively easy to store. 5Good inexpensive four glass solution.Good inexpensive four glass solution. I wish there was a way to lock the top and bottom pieces together. This was my second gift purchase after owning one for >3 years. 4Exceeded my expectations for the priceI wanted something that would allow stemware to dry in the correct position after hand-washing. Each "arm" has a rubber fitting that hold the glass securely without slipping. The base is heavy enough to allow any combination of small and large stemware to be held simultaneously. I have accidentally brushed the stand with an arm or hand a couple of times with stemware on it and it still held the glasses securely even though they teetered on the arm briefly. Construction is heavy plastic with a metallic-looking coating and the aforementioned rubber fittings. Easy to clean and doesn't show any fingerprints. It usually sits on the counter out of the way when not in use and, when drying glasses, it sits up on the sink counter/breakfast bar-top with a napkin underneath for drips. Drying time is fairly quick without any of the smudges or fingerprints that are inevitably left when hand-drying. 5Works well and excellent presentI purchased this as a house-warming present for a friend, whom really enjoys wine. She would always dry her wine glasses upside down on a towel, but as we all know that simply traps the moisture and they don't dry well. So I got her this, and she loves it! It fits even her tall (and large) glasses. It stands well and isn't flimsy. Everytime I go over to their place I see her using it. Would definitely recommend to anybody who needs to easily and effectively dry their wine glasses. 5Just what I neededI was looking for a countertop wine glass holder/dryer for my Riedel glasses. It needed to be sturdy, nice looking, non rusting and it needed to fit my very tall Wine series glasses. This system delivered on all points. Its base is very wide and stable, you can place just one glass and it won't tip over. It's tall enough for my glasses, looks amazing so I will keep it on display. Extremely easy to assemble and the rubber holders provide great grip. 5Leaves water spotsVery disappointed. There were water spots all over my wine glasses after leaving them to dry on this rack overnight. I can do a much better job drying them with my flour sack towels, which actually will leave them spot free. Don t waste your money on this rack. 1Doesn't really help with water spotsI didn't find this to be any better than placing the glasses rim-side down on a towel, waiting until the bulk of the water drains out, then turning them rim-side up. They had the same number of water spots and were far more likely to get knocked over with the resulting loss of four glasses instead of one. I'm getting rid of useless kitchen stuff, so this one will be offer to friends and/or pitched. Save your money. 2Lightweight and sturdySuper convenient to use and sturdier than you' d think considering it's made of a lightweight plastic-feeling material. It actually stores pretty well too if you take the top part off and tuck it under the base (which is hollow). It doesn't tip over when I just have one or two glasses on it which is great. 5IngeniousBeing a fan of red wine, I have an eclectic set. I hate spots left when I hand wash them and leaving them on a dish rack. This is quite handy.Thing that make me nervous, though, is the "grip" hook it has. It's not as rubbery grippy as I'd hoped and so I'm constantly afraid my glasses might accidentally fall out and break. The way they designed it though prevents this from happening by the way the hook just slightly tips up. However, if left on a table and said table was jostled, it could still result in broken glass.Another thing I didn't realize was I need to put a towl under it to catch the water dripping since... There's nothing else there. I guess you could place it on a dish rack?It helps that it separated and the top fits into the base, but you're still left with a rather odd-shaped gadget to have to find storage for as the silver paint isn't enough to hide that it's plastic and may not look great to keep on the countertop. 4
