    Excellent Used these when I replaced my filters for my Apec ULTIMATE RO-90 filter system. Prefect fit, no leaks. 5Fits the filter housing I bought on AmazonI am setting up a water filter system for my RV. Bought a clear ten inch filter housing:Hydronix HF3-10CLWH34PR 10" Clear Housing with White Rib Cap, 3/4" Ports with Pressure Relief Buttonon Amazon. These 3.5 inch O-rings fit this filter housing.5DIDN'T NEED THEM FOR SECOND SET OF FILTERSI bought these O-rings in a panic, thinking that I needed them to swap out the filters for the first time. The original filters were on so tight that I had to have my plumber come over to install them! I could not budge the filters to save my life. He inspected the original O-rings and said the replacements were not necessary yet, but to hold onto them.We LOVE this system! The water tastes completely bland. In other words, it tastes like absolutely nothing, which is exactly what it's supposed to taste like.5Works as designedFit exactly as expected. Not much to talk about in a product like this, but it works as designed, creates a great seal, no leaks. Might be slightly overpriced for the simple thing a little piece of rubber like this does in my opinion.5Worked perfectly the first time. Be sure to order the correct version.I had no trouble replacing the o-rings for the three primary filters on my APEC Reverse Osmosis system and these o-rings worked perfectly in every respect.I did read some reviews indicating the o-rings were thinner than the originals, had a larger outside diameter than the originals and/or did not seal properly. I saw none of those problems and think I may know how to avoid those issues: First and foremost, be sure to order the correct version. There is a Type A for systems manufactured before a certain pair of dates and a Type B for systems manufactured after those dates. Clicking on the Type B box will provide those dates. Be sure to select the correct ( A or B ) box before proceeding with ordering. My system was manufactured in 2018 so I ordered Type B and the replacement o-rings appeared identical to the originals. I used food grade o-ring grease on all 3 o-rings and on the flat rubber washers at each end of the two carbon filters which I was installing. I spread the grease thinly but thoroughly over the surface of all items. The grease prevents friction loads which can damage rubber parts and can give a false indication of the torque applied. There are many brands available; I used Haynes Lubri-Film sanitary lubricant which costs about $8 for a 4 oz tube but will lubricate many o-rings per tube. I used the wrench provided with the original set to tighten each filter case after installing. I pulled until each was a little more than firm; perhaps a 5-8 lb pull on the wrench.Good luck. I hope this has been helpful.5They work fine but will need to be replaced every other time you change your filters...I bought these mainly to get the size of them. Contacting Apex for the nomenclature was useless. I bought 20 pieces of 90 Durometer industrial O-rings (same size after measuring with my caliper) for half the cost. These are 70 durometer O-rings and will compress and loose their shape and seal over time. The 90 durometer O-rings are tougher and more dense. I expect them to last my lifetime.5I think these are working, but the rings were ... I think these are working, but the rings were slightly larger than the ones I took out and didn't set down all the way down into the groove. Hopefully, when I tightened up the seal it got pushed down in and is doing it's job, but sure makes me uncomfortable. 2Fit but questionableThese fit like a charm, however I was unable to 'lock" them into the filter. Once I tightened the filter, I had no leak issues. These are 100% legit from the manufacture. Follow directions and there should be no issues. I am in a rental and the $80 I spent on filters for clean water is well worth it.4Works as it claimsThe rings work as they are supposed to. Fits perfectly. Just make sure you are picking the right model. Can t blame the company if you order the wrong part. The grease packet helps as an extra precaution for securing for any leakages.I would recommend this product.5Little bit on the large side but no leaks.Figured I would change the o-rings with the filters to lessen the chance of any leaks. These o-rings are the APEC brand and not aftermarket. I put a little bit of plumbers silicone grease on them prior to installing. O-rings were a little bit oversized which I thought was odd. I installed them best as possible and no leaks. Due to size versus what was in there from new I gave 4 stars instead of 5. So far so good, no leaks. I have the ROES-50 system on my kitchen sink, great low cost system that removes all weird taste from my municipal supplied water. Glad I have this system.4Larger than original o rings, but seems to workSame as some other folks, these o rings didn't properly fit my 1st, 2nd, or 3rd stage filters on my RO system. Still, I'm not seeing any leakage, and my system works fine. Minus 1 star for making me feel like I was going to have to go through the hassle of returning $8 o rings.4Incorrect size - TERRIBLE PRODUCT!!!! STAY AWAY Like a bunch of other reviews, the O-Rings are too big compared to the original for the ROES-50 filters.I installed the O-Rings though with a food grade O-Ring lubricant. However, one of the O-Rings didn't seat correctly because it was too big and resulted in a leak under my sink. I took it out, threw it away and re-installed the original O-Ring from the filter housing.TERRIBLE PRODUCT - STAY AWAY!!! 1They look like they will fit butI have not installed them yet. When I pulled the cans off to swap out the cartridges the old rings looked good so I left them in place and shelved the new ones. Maybe in a year or two I will come back and update this review.4
