    Baby loves his "Friend"I like that this blankie is fabulously soft - even after washing numerous times. Speaking of washing, I just throw this in with my baby's regular clothes and don't have to do a 'special' wash cycle just to wash this.I like that this is small. Hearing about SIDS all the time, I don't feel nervous allowing my baby to have this during nap times and bedtime.I like that this item has been selling for at least the last 7-8 years. I first became aware of this product years ago when acting as a nanny. I like that this product is still available - and comes in various animals (can change animal/color for subsequent children).PROS:- Soft- Small- Easy to clean (regular cycle)- Relatively inexpensive- Availability (time-wise)CONS:- I bought two of these to have a spare for washing, I am disappointed that I can actually tell a difference between the two. One seems longer and thinner. This may just be a random incident - and isn't too big of a deal because I plan on letting child know of "spare" "Friend." 5Love, and can't live without it!Baby loves it! Used it during sleep training at 4 months to get rid of the pacifier he was using and it was the perfect alternative. I just knotted two ends of it at first because he couldn't pull it off his face at the beginning. Now at 6 months, he can pull it off his face fine when he wants to so I only knot one end. He likes it to cover his face sometimes when he sleeps. He loves the softness. We had to get a couple so that when one is being washed, he has a back up. 5My kids love it!My kids like the bigger size but this one it s great to travel with small and soft 5Great lightweight security blanketMy 7 month old son loves this blankie. I ordered 3 different animals so I would always have a clean one on hand. I received a ton of security blankets for my baby shower, but they all seemed too thick and heavy, and the blankie part was always small. This blankie is lightweight and the perfect size! 5Needed a backup for the wobbie my son lovesIt's a great supplement for the woobie my son loves that is no longer made incase something happens to that one. It is also blue with an elephant head. I wish it was a bit thicker though. Would have made it feel less cheap and feel a bit more durable 4Great gift for babies!My daughter could not live without her lovies! We now buy for all new babies. 56 years later.... excellent durabilityUPDATE 2/2015We have had the elephant lovies for 6 years now and they are still in perfect condition. Seams are all still in tact, nothing has ripped or torn or fallen apart. There are NO STAINS! They have been thrown up on, food has been dropped/smeared on them, dragged through the mud, you name it. And I know it's not because I have an amazing laundry routine - I have plenty of my children's clothes that are permanently stained (ugh!). These guys have been abused. Even the snout is still holding its shape perfectly. The only way you can really tell the lovey is old is because the color is a bit faded from being washed a gazillion times and the fabric is not quite as "fuzzy" as before, but given the age and the wear that these lovies have been through, the condition of the fabric is amazing. These guys have been washed at least twice a week for the last 6 years and are still going strong! Excellent product.-------------------------------------------------Wonderful lovey. Soft and perfect for snuggling. My son loves to suck on the trunk. As soon as we give him Lovey, he gets into "bedtime" mode and calms down and starts snuggling. I bought 3 to rotate after every 2-3 days (it gets grimey after a couple days of "loving") and it's the perfect amount for 2 in the wash and 1 in use. They still look new after over a year. Highly recommend. 5Best Lovey - Especially for TwinsOur twin's favorite "loveys." These are by far one of the best purchases for our boys. They sleep with these little guys and snuggle them as soon as they get in their crib. They also like to suck and teethe on the trunk. We were happy to see the fabric is breathable (and soft) as our little guys like to put them over their face. Another perk is that they are washable and come out even softer than they were. The perfect first little companion for any baby!We've since given these as baby gifts and will continue to do so. 5Very durableVery soft and durable. We have 2 of these our son loves them. 5The five stars are from my son, reallyMy 14 month old has been in love with his blue elephant blankie since he was just 6 months old, when I first let him have a lovey in the crib with him. He sleeps on it, walks around with the trunk in his mouth, and wakes up chatting to it. If I leave it in the crib while he is playing in his room, he will go over to the crib and pull it out so it can come play with him. They are best buddies. He has other loveys, but none can hold a candle to this elephant-- I just had to buy two more, because washing his old one doesn't cut it anymore! 5
