    NOT ZEN FILTER. Ceramic filters okay, but the 5 stage mineral filters are misleading and backwards.NOT ZEN FILTERS. Great price, have not used yet.The filters I received are different from the pictures... And the charcoal is at top...??? Why??? That's last always always. I'm wondering if when I use them, the taste of the minerals and stones and other filter substances will be tasted, because the charcoal is the neutralizer but it's on top??? Why???And it says it's changing the water to hexagonal water...2Too delicate/fragileExtremely fragile/delicate; especially around the base.During install broke completely away from base; did not use excessive pressure/force.Have installed numerous other filters w/o problems.I m sure if you get it on unit w/o it fracturing it will work,but you must handle with extreme care.I do not recommend based on my experience considering how critical properly filtered water is.1Quick Ship & Decent Price :)This will be used used for my Zen cointer top water system, hence the delay in my review. Compared to my original filter that came with my unit, this dome replacement filters the water too quickly. I allowed it to fill up my system four separate times testing the water each time. The taste of the water is terrible. I live in Las Vegas, and we have hard water. Calling Zen directly was eye opening! The nice rep informed me that Zen does not sell their accessories through Amazon, although one can purchase the entire system through Amazon. Therefore, it behooves me to purchase replacement dome filters straight from Zen themselves on their website which costs an average of $10 more than the other sellers on Amazon. I must do what I must do.1Don't buyIt's a cheap China version of Zen Water ceramic dome. Water pours right through and it seams like the ceramic dome is not even properly glued to the bottom part. It's very light. The real Zen Water ceramic dome is heavy and it takes a long time for water to get through the filter. I don't think this cheap version filters at all.1Good filters. Definite taste improvement.I use these filters to make a homemade tap water filter out of two 2-gallon food grade buckets. Of course I've not lab-tested the cleaned water to verify claims but in blind taste tests, the filtered water was chosen every time. We use it for all our drinking water needs plus it was a fun little project.11-6-18: still going strong. It pulles so much crud out if the tap water that a brown goo will form on the ceramic. About once a month I wash with a scrub brush and keep on using it.4beware of fake filtersDon't waste your money look elsewhere for replacement filters. The compartments were only half full, water poured right through and the seams for the compartments leaked. The seller is presumable Zen Water so it's very disappointing. I love my water filter but getting replacement filters has been a joke no matter where I order from, highly disappointed.1defective design Each layer of filtration is screwed together. As i run the faucet over the cartridge water it is leaking out the side of the cartridge. 100% defective - Renders the whole point of having the 5 stages of filtration useless.This product should not be confused with the actual ZEN filter. Do not make the same mistake I made. 1It has a lot of residue from the material that was made (powder) and it took a cream color when wet.It has too much waste of the material that was made, I submerged it in clean water to remove a little material, but with all this it gives a bad taste to the water, taking a cream color as if it were old to use, the ones that I bought previously had had this problem, I do not recommend buying this filter of such poor quality and that can be harmful to health1FilterI works good but really slow in 6hrs 1cup water hope gets better i have rusty water from well don't like it but looking for a ceramic filter like sawyer squeeze but not find yet...Can't afford Berke or others filters need a cheaper one that last one year...5
