    High Quality, Heavy Duty BinsI needed some bins that would fit my new garage cabinets, and these are the only ones I could find with the correct dimensions to fit 2 side-by-side. I was expecting something along the lines of what the big box stores sell under the Rubbermaid brand. These are far better: much heavier gauge plastic. Highly recommended.5Storage BinsThese are very nice bins. Very sturdy and I love the color. I was a bit confused before ordering these because at the time the shipping weight stated 3.2 lbs., which seemed a bit light for 6 bins of this size. I see that has been corrected to 17.5 lbs. Customer service was very helpful in straightening this out for me and I placed my order. The bins shipped about 2 weeks before the estimated shipping date, so I was able to get slightly more organized earlier than I thought I would be able to.:^) I may have to save up my pennies and buy another pack of these. Also these are made in the USA and that's hard to find anymore. Kudos to a company that has not shipped all its production overseas!!!5Pretty much the standard by which bins are compared Great bin, I ordered clear. My only complaint is that they are fit for lids, as are the dividers, however no lids are manufactured. When i made my own lids I found deviations in width from bin to bin. I assume this is warp-age from either storage or manufacturing. My local retailer, who had carried them for many years, stopped doing so, and I have tried other organizational solutions in their absence, without success. I stacked the bins so I wish that Akro-Mills made deeper versions of this bin that had the same width so that I could have a combination of shallow bins stacked on top of a deep bin. Unfortunately, it seems as if Akro-Mills does make deeper bins but none that are the same width, so stacking them would not be possible. I know that these are also meant to be hung up on a wall mount, but they are also built to stack, so why not vary the stackable aspect???4... these for my fourth grade classroom and they are perfect! We have several colors that go with our classroom. We have six stacks of five bins spread around the room for easy access. My husband cut some wooden covers for the top bin of each stack, but it would be great if there were tops to purchase! It did finally show up and was perfect. 4Five stars in every regard except...I have these bins in use throughout my company and I'm impressed by their durability and sturdiness. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the bins I received are blue when they are advertised as black. It doesn't matter in my use of them but it might be a consideration to others who might color code bins based on operational use. That said, the Akro-Mils bins are thicker, stronger and more durable than cheaper imitations.4
