    Very helpfulI am the bookkeeper for a fairly large nonprofit organization. I do the books offsite and we have many people that use company credit cards to make purchases. They would always put receipts on desks and they would disappear. This has been a fabulous way to make sure that receipts do NOT get lost. Purchases are made and they come back and slip the receipt in the locked box. Myself and one other person onsite have the key. At the end of the month she unlocks and puts all receipts in an envelope for me. We have limited wall space so we are using it just sitting on the desk but everyone knows where to go to deposit receipts. So far so good. 5Adir makes perfect products for the classroom!!This is the second Adir box I have purchased in less than two years because of their excellence in quality and durability. Not only that, but they look great! I am a teacher and the first wooden box with large message display area worked perfect for my Scholadtic orders. I could change out monthly notices to the parents in the 8x10 message area. This box is being used in my 8th grade class for private notes to me, suggestions, and private prayer requests. And though clssses haven't started yet I know it will be perfect!! 5GREAT FOR CHECKS. SECURE AND WELL BUILT.Excellent little box for accepting rent checks or suggestions. We have a ranch where we board horses and we need a place for folks to drop off checks in the barn. This is perfect. Everything similar is over $50 so I really liked this one. The other reviews gave me confidence in the quality. It's really pretty good for $20.The inside screw holes make it secure from being stolen. It could probably be broken into with a crow bar if someone really wanted it. But it's good to keep the common petty thief away. I didn't notice the bottom screw holes right away. They give added security.There's two mounting holes with screws inside at the top and rear of the box and two more mounting holes in the bottom. I suggest bigger screws. 2 x 3/8. And 2 x 1/4. The length is up to you.One comment: it's possible for not so smart people to miss the slot for checks and put their checks in the place for the notepad holder. I put an arrow to the slot just to ensure everyone could see the right place to drop their check. 5Sturdy Metal Box That's Just Right for Its Advertised UsesWe selected this sturdy metal box for dues collection at a club. We like the fact that the money can only go in and not be taken out (except by our Treasurer & assistant - using the two keys that came with the box). The box is just the right mix of too big for someone unauthorized to unobtrusively walk off with and yet portable enough for the club treasurer to easily transport to meetings. If you want to use it as a suggestion box the product comes with some "suggestion" slips to get you started. I think there are other colors, but for our purposes cost was more of a factor than aesthetics... We received the box promptly after ordering it and it arrived well-packed and in good condition. The seller followed up to ask if we were satisfied with the product for our needs - we are. We just place the box on a table at meetings, so I'm afraid I can't answer any questions about wall-mounting it. 5Has alternate usesFirst, I need to disclose that I did not order this to use as a suggestion box. I ordered it to use as a bank. My daughter wanted to start a 52 week saving plan--the one where you save $52 the first week, $51 the next, etc.. until the end of the year at which time you would save $1378. She wanted something that was opaque (so she couldn't see the money and be tempted!), sturdy and reusable, with a lock and a place to hold a record of each week's deposit. I will say it was a challenge to find something of that nature until I happened upon a series of suggestion boxes. I ended up ordering this because it checked every box on her checklist. When I presented her with the box, she gave me the key to hold on to (again avoiding temptation) . The lock isn't like one you'd find at Fort Knox but it's not designed to be. This is, after all, a suggestion box. The box is definitely solid. It can be mounted to the wall but I doubt she will ever use that feature. The slot is at the top so she can drop in the money but is small enough so she cannot shake it out (again, avoiding temptation!). I asked her how the box was working out and she was excited to tell me how much money she has saved so far this year. I was happy to surprise her with this because I want to encourage her to save money and you have to start someplace. I hope she will use it for years to come. 5Nice steel box but the wall mounting screw heads are ...Nice steel box but the wall mounting screw heads are too small. They are so small that they slip out of the mounting slot. I replaced them with screws that have a larger head. The box is mounted securely to the wall now. I didn't subtract any stars for this issue. Just know ahead of time that you will need different screws if you plan to mount the box. 5Secure Drop Box for Donations for Homebrewed BeerPerfect for taking payments for beer. I mounted it next to my keezer for taking donations per draw of beer. Donations will be donated to the American Cancer Society Real Men Wear Pink campaign. Mounts solidly with provided screws and anchors and comes with everything you will need. NOTE: Ordered the black box, then spray-painted red and covered the front panel with chalkboard paint. 5Good secure, practical box!Very happy with this box. It is solid in construction and it hangs securely on the wall and holds envelopes that we use to collect donations for our group. Unfortnately one of our keys were lost and can't be replaced, but we did speak with Adir Corp and they are sending us a replacement lock with new keys. Very friendly service and very pleased as we are very happy with this box! 5Change the way you see suggestion boxes!Just the right size for my application. The box is sturdy and well constructed too.I have never liked suggestions; that's why I use these type of boxes for solutions and that's what it's named.A brief outline of what is expected from users is; it is very easy to spot problems and the problem with problems is coming up with a solution which is not as easy. Rewards can be had for solutions to existing problems; get involved and be part of the solution!This takes the anonymity out of the age-old suggestions which are all too often unuseful and some, downright derogatory. 5Well constructed, but lacks suitable mounting screws.I haven t had an occasion yet to use this product for donations at our model train exhibits. The product is solidly constructed, locks confidently, and will clearly suit our needs. My only complaint is that the included mounting screws are too thin and short! Not only could they be easily ripped out of the wood they are screwed into, but the screw heads are way too undersized for the mounting holes in the box. I will need to buy thicker, longer screws with a larger head than what was provided! Four labels were included, like suggestions and key drop , but doesn t include the most obvious purpose for such a box, like ballots , donations , or payments , so I will need to create my own labels. Since I can t use the supplied labels, I cannot rate the quality of the labels. 5
