    Great Bags. So Very Useful!These are soooooooooo handy! I purchased these mainly as trash 'cans' perfect for recycling and even composting. I just toss my trash in them, and when full, I just pick it up by the carry handles and toss it in the big bin outside or the compost pile. No plastic!And obviously they are also great for carrying stuff to the car, to parties, to the beach, when it's a last minute out-the-door-need-something-to-hold-stuff-quick. Would buy again! 5Five StarsAmazing paper bag with handles. Couldn't live with out them. Made me rich and good looking 5Handles glued downThese bags are not working out. The handles are glued down on the bag, so when you pull them up, half the time you end up ripping the handle. I ll use them, but not the best experience. 1Overall good, some glueing errorsTypical paper bags, bought to meet our recycling requirements. They are fine, but some of them have had the glue on the bottom get stuck to the sides. Must be very careful when unfolding or the whole bag will tear. 4Paper bags to the rescueIn trying to rid my home of incredible amounts of oldish papers which must be shredded, I found that shredding companies will only take them in paper bags. As these no longer come without a penalty (they are not in all grocery stores any more, and you have to pay for them if they do have them), I decided to buy some. These bags came from a third party via amazon, and they came promptly and in fine shape. It is hard to rave about paper bags, but the seller sent them so quickly that I was extremely pleased. They are strong enough to hold a full bag of paper without tearing, which would undo their purpose of destroying the papers. Now, if only someone sold something to make sorting through mountains of paper more interesting . . . . 5Some things have really changed!I have reordered these bags many times. The handles were upright and ready to grab and hang for easy access. This time the bag handles are heavily glued to the bag requiring that you pull both handles on each bag to free them for hanging. They don't come away from the bag easily and you will waste a lot of time doing this. I can't imagine a retail store wanting to fiddle with extricating the handles on a paper bag. If this is the new style for them I will have to find another vendor. Not a happy customer. 1Slightly DefectiveThese would have been great, but the glue they use to seal the main seam seems to have glued the bags shut. When opening up each bag, I have to be careful to not tear it right down the middle. Even if I get them open without a tear, that part of the bag is weak and prone to ripping. 2Not great for kitchen trash because coffee grounds and wet stuff ...I wanted to reduce my use of plastic bags, and this helps. For example, I was cleaning out a bunch of paper files and had forgotten how much easier it is to use paper bags. They stand up, and are open at the top, making them so much easier to fill. If recycling, then you simply toss the bag full of paper with the contents, in the bin. Handles can't stand a lot of weight, but no big deal. Not great for kitchen trash because coffee grounds and wet stuff may soak the paper. Bottom line, if you haven't use paper bags for awhile you should keep some of these around. Not only are they useful, they are environmentally friendly. 5Great for recyclablesWe use these in the kitchen to hold recyclable cans/paper/etc to make it easy to take them out to the recycle bin at the curb. Yes in a way perhaps it defeats the purpose, but it helps us. Good price, and easier/cheaper than U-Line. 5One StarHorrible bags, tear like toilet paper, do not buy! 1
