There wasn't a disclaimer stating "not dishwasher safe" and I put them in the dishwasher. They're completely ruined and now I need to rush around finding replacements before the event where I need them. 2Bought it for big cans of popcorn but it works well for ice cream, tooMakes it easy to get portions of popcorn out of a big can without breaking it much. Then one day I couldn't find my ice cream scoop, and this turned out to work even better because the edge is thinner and it is easier to handle. 5Pretty Not So Much FunctionalI don t feel like these are for use as much as show. I ordered them to put in my farmhouse glass baking canisters. They look great and I do use them to get out the flour, sugar, etc However, do NOT put in your dishwasher !!!! I ruined one doing this. They have to be washed by hand! 5Love the scoops!I use them for dog food. My dog is 7 lbs so his food is small. If you have a big dog I would opt for a bigger scoop. They are metal and wash well. I put the other one in the dried beans. 5Poor quality; waste of moneyI used this for 2 days as a coffee scoop and hand washed it. The finish is coming off already. Disappointing quality and it isn t eligible for return. Don t waste your money! 1Useful and attractiveThese are very durable and useful. I have been using one of them to scoop up bleaching powder for my laundry. The aluminum material is tough enough to break up caked powder, and not much was sticking to the polished surface. (Don't use them with strong caustics like lye / caustic soda, as those will corrode aluminum.)Speaking of polish, these scoops are definitely shiny enough for use with a cocktail set, and they feel solid yet light in the hand. These are basically what you want in a scoop 5Durable and perfect portionLove the size and the making of it. I have had them for couple months and I haven t noticed any tarnish or discoloring. But then again i have been using it in sugar container and flour and haven t washed them. We still have them in the kitchen to use when we fill up a canister of trail mix from the store. They continue to come in handy!
