I suffer from back problems and I can honestly say that I now wake up feeling well rested and not so many pains. When I first opened the package there was a strong order but that dissipated within 3 to 4 days. Overall this is a great product and I would recommend it to people who suffer from back problems. 4HeavenlyI fell in love the second this blue wonder breathed itself to life. The first night was amazing comforting sleep. My older mattress doesnt know what happened to it hahaA couple of weeks later my neghbor came over to work on a project when she sat down by me to look at the computer in my room, she said, "Oh my goodness! I need this bed!" I said, its the mattress pad I ordered instead of spending the same amount at walmart. She remembered the expensive "nicer" options we had looked at on a shopping trip. She lifted the shhet and said, "oh its much thicker and soooo " gel infused memory foam is yummy! 5Five Starsok 5Didn't work for me.Waste of money. I was sinking into a heated hole every night. It's soft, but it is not practical. I had to roll out of a ditch everyday. Then the foam started tearing in the mostly slept areas within months. Not worth the money. Spent the extra money and get a different type of topper. Stay away from the memory gel-foam. 1Super comfortable, but the smell from the foam lingers ...Super comfortable, but the smell from the foam lingers for at least a week after opening and beginning use, and you can definitely smell it through sheets. Completely worth it besides the smell, it molds perfectly to my body when I sleep and it great for sleeping on my side or back. 4Great topper. Just let it air out first.I love my new 3" mattress topper. My wife and I are "side sleepers" and we're waking up with hip pain from our old hard mattress. We no longer wake up sore. It takes a little getting used to because it's harder to flip around on the foam. It's very high quality and made in USA. One star removed for how long the smell lasted. Do not skimp on what the instructions say. Seriously let the foam air out for a few days in a warm place. 4One of the better toppers that I've triedOverall, I'm pretty happy with this mattress topper. It was VERY compressed and consequently was a little difficult to open and unroll but it did regain about 90% of its shape after 24 hours and was fully expanded after 48 hours. I'm not especially sensitive to chemical odors but even for me, it DID have an odor when it was first opened. Not overwhelming, but definitely there. Most of the odor was gone after two days and I went ahead and put it on the bed. However, when I tried sleeping on it, I found that the odor bothered me a bit, so I pulled it off the bed and set it in the spare bedroom to air out for about 10 days. After that, no problem. As far as firmness goes, I found the topper to be medium-soft: it compressed well but still provided some support. It seems to have a little more elasticity than other memory foam that I've used - which I like because it makes it a little easier for me to move around on it. I don't know about whether it sleeps cool or hot as I put a 2-inch cotton mattress pad on top of it - I find that to be a cozier surface to sleep on and it also eliminates the heat problem. I'd DEFINITELY recommend getting the 3 or 4-inch version of this topper: I've found that 2 inches doesn't really do much. 4PERFECT!! FAST!!! PERFECT!!! WOW!!!! 5 STARS!!! 5Five Starsgrand kids love it very comfy two thumbs up 5
