did not lastI was so disappointed this did not last. I made soymilk and the 2nd time I made soymilk, the bag split in half and all the contents spilled. 2Effective and convenientPurchased the 2-pack Go Nuts nut milk bag for draining the whey out of homemade yogurt. At first glance, I thought the fabric ( mesh ) might be too fine for that purpose, but it drained really well. Once it was drained, the smoothness of the fabric enabled the thick yogurt to be dumped out of the bag easily and cleanly. So much easier than trying to drain it through cheese cloth layers and it s reusable. The size of this bag is a perfect fit to hang inside my 1/2 gallon juice pitcher while the yogurt is draining (with a few clothes pins to hold it up). It cleans easily and dries quickly too. 5and was leery about the nylon doing a good job of making his hazelnut milkSo I got two muslin cloth nut milk bags to use to make my husband some nut milks as he is lactose intolerant. Well after I made the bags I put them beside the cleaning rag and stuff in my sink. My husband didn't realize that bag was reusable so in the trash in went thinking it was something for the kids. Needless to say after a serious conversation, I bought these bags, and was leery about the nylon doing a good job of making his hazelnut milk. I used these, and man alive they are awesome! I mean milk is sifted through the bag and hardly any grit is left over in the milk, just smooth tasty milk. I am very well pleased and plan on getting some more of these! 5Love this bagLove this bag. It is large enough to handle straining a half gallon of milk. It is strong enough to allow you to twist and strain the milk from the pulp completely. Clean up is a breeze. I just turned it inside out and washed with dishwashing liquid, rinsed and counter dried. Great product for the money. 5Works for homemade juicer-less juiceAs a fresh/green juice lover, I used to have a juicer but didn't enjoy using it because clean up was time consuming and often did not get much juice out of leafy greens. I saw many tutorials of "juicing" using a high speed blender (Vitamix) and then straining the juice using a nut bag, so I thought I'd give it a try.I ordered this option because of good reviews, price, and that it came as a two pack.I used the following ingredients: 1 large cucumber, 1 bag of baby spinach, several stalks celery, 4 small green apples, two lemons, and a sliver of ginger. You must add some water to help blend which does dilute the taste of the juice versus a straight juicing method. I had my Vitamix almost full to the top and it took two separate batches of straining the pulp. It would have been better to do it in three or four batches to allow for easier squeezing of the pulp inside the bag.I included some photos which show the following:a) how much pulp was left overb) how much juice was madec) how the bag looked after strainingThe major CON was that the pulp got stuck in-between the seams and it was quite difficult to clean. Either you aggressively rub the bag under water that could potentially loosen the seams, which aren't the most tightly sewn. Or do what I did which was soak the bag in some soapy water over night.So far so good, but the true test is if those seams will hold up to regular use and pressure from squeezing juice out of pulp. 4GREAT BAGS!!!!!!!!!So far I love my bags. I did not use it for nut milk yet. I had some kefir and no cheesecloth at handso I used one of these. It worked perfectly and cleaned up very nicely. My family loves nut milks andI am making some now so I will be using the bags for what I bought them for! The kids also love kefirand since I strained the grains with the bag last night the kids are eagerly awaiting their favorite flavorof kefir. The dogs like theirs plain. I think this is a great product and will probably buy another packagesince I use them so much. 5Extra thick vegan yogurt.I use these to make my anti inflammatory ginger, turmeric drink because it strains off every single solid. I also use this to make vegan, dairy free super thick yogurt. I put the bag in a 64 oz ball jar and secure the bag by tying it open on the outside lip, then pour the yogurt in and wait about 4-8hrs for it to strain. The longer i wait the thicker it gets and i have even used this method to make homemade ranch and cream cheese. I dont use these for nut milk because that would be too expensive for the amount i consume and the short shelf life of homemade nut milk. I'll actually be buying more bags soon. 5Cheap Substitute for a JuicerUsed this product yesterday to make juice rather than a smoothie. Instead of having to buy another expensive product that would take up kitchen space I took a chance on this bag. So happy I did. I blended 4 whole apples in my nutribullet and poured the blended apples into the bag. I was able to twist the bag ridiculously tight and the bag did not bust. I got the driest pulp imaginable and a cheap juicer out of this product! Do not hesitate to buy. 5Perfect for cold brew and horchataDelivered fast, high quality, super easy to clean, very effective and efficient at filtering cold brew coffee and homemade horchata, which both have very small particles. Soooo much better than coffee filters, towels or cheese cloth. 10/10 would recommend! 5Easy to use and cleanI bought these after researching reusable alternatives to cheesecloth, and I'm well-pleased with the results. I used one to squeeze out excess water from zucchini, and my eventual casserole was a hit at Easter lunch because I was able to remove so much moisture. I'm looking forward to straining broths through these bags, too. Clean-up was easy, as I just used a bit of dish-washing liquid to hand wash the bag before letting it air dry. 5
