    Quality floor brush, particularly for the priceI use this for my Eureka Mighty Mite. It's great if you do a large indoor area with surface like wood or ceramic tile. It fits quite well, no knobs or fastening devices - just a friction fit, like every other accessory for the Mighty Mite. But it seems to fly loose a little less than the stock one. And it's a nice bristle - dense, reasonable height, seems to retain them well.Your vacuuming time will be cut down a little since it's a bit wider than the stock one. And it's quieter and gentler on your floor, because only bristles touch and not hard plastic or hard little rubber nubbies. And you already saved a pile of money on your Mighty Mite - so splurge on this, you won't regret it. 4I never thought i could love a vacuum attachment until i bought thisI never thought i could love a vacuum attachment until i bought this. It fits our central vac perfectly and swivels really well to get under couches, etc. We simply stopped using our central vac because all the heads that came with it were so terrible Then we figured we would try grabbing another one and see how it works. This one works like magic for hard wood floors, laminate, and vinyl. the big cushy bristles mean this will never scratch the floors or flop, they get all the hair, debris, etc on the first pass every time. It is not as good as a spinning brush head for carpet, but we still run over the carpet with it just because its on and it still does a pretty decent job.it is important to note that this head performs like heads twice its price. It is very hard to determine what works and what doesn't, and what is worth spending the money on. I would strongly recommend this one especially at this low price. 100% worth it. 5Does not pick up dirt and bad suction with this brush!I bought it to use for laminate floors and central vacuum system and I think since it s a bit wider it just did not pick up any dirt. The brussels are too high and let a lot of air through. The suction was horrible and dramatically noticed by all family members. Could not use for floors. But seems to work much better for rugs and carpets. We ended up getting the Eureka universal 10 one and a world of difference and cheaper. 3Item has changed - not as pictured - see my pictureThis brush came with wheels although none are pictured. I re-ordered this brush - so I know exactly how it is supposed to look. The pictured brush design (the one we have had for a year) has bristles along the perimeter with a shorter set along a gap in the front. Our house cleaners requested that we order them another to use at other houses - but I don't think that the changed design that we received will please them. I do see a similar (no-wheels) version on another listing - we may have to try that. Please make the pictures accurate - and don't change an item previously listed. 1Excellent hard floor vacuum brush.I really like this brush for my Eureka Mighty Mite & Kenmore vacs. The floor brushes that come with them are very short, stiff & scratchy; the nozzle is not very wide across either. These are very good quality horse hair that are much longer & softer; there is a shorter cut-out area in the front (as shown in the picture) that aids in the pick up of debris, instead of pushing it to the side. I really like the much wider nozzle also. I had reviewed several others before deciding on this one, which seemed heads above any of the rest. I concur! 5If you have Hardwood Floors that scratch easily--I highly recommend this!!!I recently had my hardwood floors refinished and no matter how careful or gentle I was with my little Eureka Might Mite, it seemed like I was leaving very fine and small scratches. I was actually looking for a new vacuum cleaner when I stumbled on this and I couldn't be happier with the results. It was a perfect fit. I think that 1 1/4 inches is pretty standard. I was also a little worried that because it's 12 inches wide, my portable machine might not have enough suction to work so spread out, but it was fine. Highly recommend! 5NOT universal fit...only Central Vacuum systemsI should begin by saying this item is for Central Vacuums only (as stated on the product label) so don't believe some of the reviews that this is anywhere near universal. It's likely universal for Central Vacuum systems, but certainly not for Shark or Bissell uprights. The quality looks great, the bristles a bit stiffer than I expected; but alas since we don't have a central vacuum system, it will be donated to the thrift (at such an inexpensive price, it isn't worth packing back up)...just a heads up. This would be a great product for somebody, but that somebody has to have a central vac system...otherwise, forget it. 1Great vacuum brushI bought this to replace a broken hard floor brush. It was very similar to the one I had but was a little wider in the intake portion. (The horizontal opening was more oval than straight.) It will even pick up Legos caught in the carpet. I have mostly hard wood floors and tile to vacuum. The small amount if carpet I have makes it annoying to go find the carpet head to use on the central vacuum. This head works very well on carpet. In fact I like it better than the carpet tool that I have had for years. 5Great for folks that don't throw away moneyI write very few reviews.With this 12in Deluxe Central Vacuum Accessory Floor Brush it seems to me a good idea to offer some words of advice.Make no mistake please.The brush is well made: and will last a good number of years.It fits my ancient Kenmore vacuum cleaner well; is thin enough to slip under low furniture, and its 12" width make shorter work of floors than my 9-1/2" floor brush.This is a 5 star product.The words of advice do not go to product quality.They go to basic physics.It did not dawn on me until I used it that a 12" wide brush would spread the sucking power of the vacuum cleaner over a larger area than a 9.5" brush would.Thus offering less power at the floorI've proved this with a precise scientific experimentMy ancient Kenmore sucks very stronglyThat's the primary reason I still own it: & buy toys for itWith the original 9.5" wide brush the machine will pick a penny up from the floor; and I can hear the coin slam against the back of the bag.With the 12" brush the penny remains on the floor.Now that's science!Still, considering the physics, this accessory earns 5 starsIt's absolutely great at hardwood floor cleanup; especially for folks that shudder at the thought of throwing money away; penny by penny.It's great for other folks too.You will not be throwing your money away buying this product.5 Stars 5Great bare floor brushThis is the best brush attachment that I have ever used on my tile floors. It is much better than the one that came with my pricey canister vacuum cleaner. It is well made and I have used mine for more than 6 months and it still looks brand new. A problem that I encountered was that the rubber edge of the brush was leaving black marks on my newly painted white base boards. This problem was solved by gluing a piece of felt on the rubber edge of the brush that was leaving the mark. I am very happy with this purchase. 5
